Vinicius P. Miranda
@nmano This guide work for x79 and Sandy Bridge-E (i73930K)? How I can find the Cpuid1Dat and FakeCPUID for SandyBridge-E? I would like to try your tutorial to see if I can get BS to run on x79 and Sandy Bridge-E. I still couldn't do it with Clover and OC.

Sandy Bridge -E, Ivy Bridge -E are natively supported so you don't 'have to spoof any cpuid, you only need some tunes for reserved memory in order to get your graphics working if you are gonna use IGPU

The only thing that made Power Management work in Catalina correctly was to put the following: Can you tell me if I have to change these values to work with BigSur? Vinicius P. Miranda
His is right. 2 processors do not double performance. This would be the ideal scenario, but it is not what happens in practice.

Thanks for the response. I actually was not able to install Big Sur from a flash drive but i took another path and installed it through a restore disk which ultimately gave me the same result. I have now a running Big Sur so happy with it. Cheers.
