Does this not change after each Mac OS patch?

It does on Clover is it different for Opencore?

I'm having problems installing, if someone could look at my EFI that would be swell!

EFI copy.zip

IMHO, this patch will work, until Apple do a change.

Here's a useful link for your Broadwell-E Hack, to OpenCore it from A to Z, without hassle.

This is the general name of the processor line, it does not change.

I don’t have such a processor, try EFI

EFI copy 2.zip

It's the CPUID, generally if he's Processor is not native, he must use a fakeCPUID "patch". This is why i wrote it would work, if it worked for him in clover it should be the same in OpenCore. And don't checked if he's cpu is native. After few majore MacOS updates, it will be not possible to use it, FakeCPUID then will do it's job :hammer:

Cascade Lake-X/Skylake-X users you can Emulate  0x050657 / 0x050654

#CPUID          Cascade Lake-X 0x050657

Cpuid1Data   <->  57060500 00000000 00000000 00000000

Cpuid1Mask  <->   FFFFFFFF 00000000 00000000 00000000

#CPUID           Skylake-X 0x050654

It seems to me that the documentation is not correct D4060300 should be D3060300

He's using the wrong patch for he's CPU:

This Cpuid1Data: 57060500 00000000 00000000 00000000 is for Cascade Lake-X

Instead, he must use

This Cpuid1Data: F1060400 00000000 00000000 00000000 for Broadwell-E

Config CPUID patch fixed:

Config.plist

Alright fellas,

Been fighting with this for a while.   anyone with same build have a working EFI.

Gigabyte X99P-SLI

Intel 6800K

32GB Crucial Ram

Gigabyte R9 390 8GB.

I have the same build except for your graphics card, cannot get it 10.15.4 working with OpenCore at all. I'm still on 10.13.6 so i thought i'd try updating everything at once... no dice

Appreciate your response.  How hard was it to initially get your system up with Opencore and transition from Clover.

I still can't get it to run, i've just managed yesterday to migrate from clover to OpenCore, two boot resulted with two Kernel Panics:

It's normal, but once we will find the tricks, it will be like a game :D , i think that this link would be helpful otherwise, you can post your problem in OpenCore discussion for rapid help, because of the developers there.

I'm getting black screen after 2nd boot during installation, I can get to the install screen, choose SSD, Apple Logo takes 8 mins, then the screen goes black for 5 mins and then the computer shutdown. When i start back up i belive it's going through the 2nd install part of the installation but i can't see anything.

I went through a similar thing with clover when i installed 10.13.6 ages ago, i think it was fixed with VegaGraphicsFixup.kext which isnt used anymore for OC.

I have tried (-v debug=0x100 slide=128 keepsyms=1 npci=0x2000 agdpmod=vit9696 alcid=1) and without agdpmod=vit9696 but still black screen, i'm using Display Port on my RX480. I've searched but can't find any solution! Whatevergreen and Lilu latest as well.
