I have been using QLVideo for many years and I installed the latest version after encountering this problem and it's still no-go. My photos and .mp4 files display preview icons just fine. Same with Quick Look. Ideas? Successfully updated to DP7 by directly running the patched, full installer app in DP6 on my legacy Dell XPS M1530 with non metal Tesla Geforce 8600M GT... This two update (DP6/7) by Preference/Software Update Relocated Items (alias) folder on Desktop. Original in usr/shared/ What is the solution? I'll get message, that Catalina Beta app does not appear to be a valid OS installer application ! solved: downloaded DMG was corrupt. Stick still created.
