that picture was in the new partition, and I wasn't able to delete it, and now I'm in my first macOS Catalina and in this one I don't have one named ESP-41... sorry for my mistake...

Ok do you try install Clover now ?

And this is not normal you have a Lock folder and its suppose to a DISK, like this

not a folder like you Your Issue is from that and maybe its relate to bad interpreting Clover NVRAM on Catalina but I am not sure

Yes and one more time it didn't install...

The strange thing is that in my second partition I can't install clover too, and I can't delete the ESP-41...

Thanks anyway...

WOW,

Lenovo IdeaPad 720s Smoothes, fastest and moust easy update in my time since i have been in a hackintosh community in a decade!

Have been using FinalCut Pro X, Logic X pro with non facing broplems so far. Audio, ALC236, Wifi (Broadcom BCM94352Z), Hdmi Out (with sound), TRackPad VoodooIC2 v.2.2. etc.

macOS 10.15 (19A471t) Is extrmly fast with Samsung 970 EVO SSD NVme! And Catalina boot time is around 4sec.

which is about 70 percent faster than Mojove.

I made another partition and made a clean installation. Installation. was about 50% faster than mojave.

I’m using ALC 236 Devices patch PciRoot(0)/Pci(0x1f,03)

                                                    #hda-gfx.     onboard-1

                                                    #no-controller-patch.            1

                                                    layout-id.       0F000000

Bluetooth is only what is not working at the moment! have not had much time to try.

Clover 4945.

I will report if there are any problems ahead...

I'm using the Mojave 14.4 bluetooth kexts and have got it working.

Screen Shot 2019-06-09 at 1.09.46 PM.png

Bluetooth kexts fix.zip

Should I apply these 2 kexts with Kext Utility or put them in Clover/EFI/Clover/kexts/other (or 10.14 and 10.15 respectively) ?

Neither worked for my Z87 hackintosh. In "About This Mac"/Bluetooth no change of firmware version yet !

[Edit]

Very strange it worked in Z97 hackintosh at 10.14.6 beta and 10.15 beta with these 2 kets from 10.14.4 in Clover/EFI/Clover/kexts/10.14 and 10.15 respectively.

Trying to figure out why it did not work in Z87 hackintosh yet !

I replaced them in S/L/E and then ran kext utility.   I posted the originals from Catalina in case they don't work and some one needs a backup..

hi

what is your modify from vanilla file?

These are the original Catalina kexts and the 10.14.4 kexts.   I replaced the kexts with older version 14.4 and ran kext utility.   The Catalina kexts are un-modified, there for backup in case someone needs to revert.   It seems we can't modify Catalina kexts for now.   I tried with Atheros40 kext but it wouldn't take, needed to replace with Mojave modified HS Atheros kext for wifi on a different system.

Hi guys,

After one more fresh install of macOS Catalina, one more try to install clover and I still can't because it crashes when I try to choose the drive to install... see below the error log.

But it installs if I don't choose a different drive...

After some absence, I have not read all posts yet. I am not sure if anyone has noticed that the Audio-MIDI-Setup tool contains some visual updates. This room can also be rotated!

So far, it works very well and fast, only Safari sometimes does not work anymore.

Something is wrong with the frequency. It's up high all time. the other thing I have problem with is USB are all dead after wake.

Anyone have a clue why?

Tnx.

@ MorenoAV - Have you read glasgood Guide for the Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro? I have the exact same board as you and his Guide proved invaluable. It provides everything you'll need to get up and running.

Hi @eSaF

In macOS Mojave I followed the @glasgood guide and I was up and running in no time... and my EFI, Drivers and kexts are almost the same of Mojave the only thing that I did was updating some kexts and I was running in 20 minutes the first time that I installed Catalina.

Until now I don't know the origin of my clover problems but I'm up and running with a fresh install of Catalina.

Cheers
