SavageAUS Posted October 1, 2019 Share Posted October 1, 2019 Just a note about IPG 3.6. I had two sudden reboots since I installed it. Never had that problem before. Panic was caused by EnergyDriver.kext , so I rolled back to IPG 3.5.6 and problem solved.I had endless reboots on my desktop with beta 9 and IPG 3.6.0. But beta 10 on my laptop and IPG 3.6.0 went smooth. Might try desktop later after work if I update it today. Luckily I have Mojave on another ssd that I can boot into do delete the EnergyDriver.kext with because single user mode says it’s a read only file even with mounting with mount -uw /So I am at a loss, what could possibly cause my rig to be so incompatible with IPG 3.6.0. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I don't know anything about Intel Power Gadget, but you have to run mount -uw /System/Volumes/Data to write to the data volume in single-user mode.
