Launchpad only adds app icons to it when downloading apps from the App Store, not by adding Apps to the Applications folder, if you manually add a app to the Applications folder you must drag and drop the icon from Applications folder to Launchpad. Actually, when I install Adobe CC 2019 or Microsoft Office 2019, the icons are automatically add to Launchpad (Mojave). I don't try into Catalina. Wait and see. Installing is quite different than just copying the files to Application folder. I forgot to mention that I have changed inside the Lenovo InsydeH20 Setup Utility settings so that it will use GPIO. Have to change Custom device> Interrupt mode = Interrupt GPI0.
