mnfesq Posted May 26, 2019 Share Posted May 26, 2019 You need to figure out what audio device you have and its codec. Mine is the Realtek ALC295. Your's is probably very similar. I used to use VoodooHDA but have switched to AppleHDA by using Lilu+AppleALC.kext. I also needed FakePCIID.kext+FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext in order to get HDMI audio to work. My layout ID is 3. That is set in the config.plist for Clover. All of these kexts go in the Clover/kexts/Other folder. Give it a try and see if it works for you. With regards to audio, information you had posted here last year clearly showed that your HP laptop is fitted with Realtek ALC282 audio (layout 3 apparently). I tried but I had no success. I put AppleALC latest release and the other kexts in Clover/Kexts /Other all of them. No sound. I tried to install Voodoo again. No sound.
