ATI RADEON HD 8240 R3

Hai All,

 

I'm new in hackintosh & all the stuff

try to install high sierra on my old pc

 

the specs:

ASUS AM1M-A
Sempron 2650

GPU Ati Radeon 8240 R3

 

and the installation works fine using "AMDHS_Installer_v2.5_clover"

but the GPU doesn't works,

any one can give step by step to make it works

because i already search nothing seems to be working

i found this this topic

in this topic, the GPU can be installed on el capitan,

but the moderator did not give any step by step to install it.

 

please help me.

He,

It's easy to get started with either Clover or Enoch bootloader. With Enoch I used a combination of an Efi-string and DSDT with video.rom. 

 

You can generate these under windows operating system by using "Aida64 Engineer Tool". A free trial version is quite sufficient for this. There are various video tutorials on youtube, how to do that. a long time ago i uploaded an example dsdt under working builds, look here:
