hey @MaLd0n, thanks for the reply! I wasn't sure what to do, I tried adding DSDT patches via teh acpi section of the clover configurator with the values you provided, didn't work.

I also reset my changes and tried adding the DSDT.aml you provided into my EFI->CLOVER->ACPI->patched. This time I couldn't move my mouse or use my keyboard upon booting and couldn't type in my password because of that.

I have since booted from my USB and reset all changes.

What am I doing wrong?

thanks again!

I tried OsxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi and EmuVariableUefi-64.efi, still doesn't shutdown...

Is there a way to get the shutdown logs? In system.log I can't find anything relevant, however in /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports I found lots of shutdown_stall* logs. attached the latest one, not sure if it's helpful though.

Thank you for the support!

Hello @MaLd0n,

Just finished my first Hackintosh with a guide from tonymac. The PC crashes for aprox. 20 seconds when restarting, shutting down or putting into sleep, followed by a reboot.

I'm not so familiar with Hackintosh I did try a few things with the Clover Configurator and the bios.
Would be very glad if you could help me.

As I gave up all my hopes, reverted back to the old Aptio kext I've used for years, OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi, plus EmuVariableUefi-64.efi, everything else is still from your zip file. Now shutdown / reboot worked most of the time!! There is still an issue though, it took roughly 1-5 minutes to completely shutdown.. Still trying to root cause the issue..

Hi @MaLd0n,

I've had my Hackintosh running for some months now, with a few problems. One of them is that it won't shut down or restart, has been like that since installation. And the second is that the sound doesn't work at the moment. It was working on day 1, then a month later it stopped. I tried many fixes and after a few days later it resolved itself. Now it has happened again. I have same specs as OP. Was wondering if you could help.

My system is as follows:
MacOS 10.14.1 Mojave
Gigabyte H370 HD3
i5 8400 Coffee Lake

I have the following Kexts installed:

VirtualSMC.kext
Lilu.kext

AppleALC.kext
IntelMausiEthernet.kext

USBInjectAll.kext

WhateverGreen.kext
XHCI-300-series-injector.kext

Thanks.
