Got me Lubuntu with IceWM as my window manager. The reason why I am doing this is simple: my Lenovo laptop only has 2GB of RAM, so I need to save as much memory as possible. IceWM is good at keeping low on resources.

The background is kinda messed up because I am too lazy to properly fix it.

And to those who might ask why I am using GIMP to take a screeny, its because my PrntScrn key aint working for some reason.

Using Ubuntu 18.04 with Gnome-Shell

Gnome Shell Extensions are Activities Configurator (hide Activities text and add Apple icon), Dash To Dock, Global Hud Menu, and Unite

For my theme I am using and Sierra-dark-compact Cupertino icons

To get the Launchpad Icon, I created ~/.local/share/applications/Launchpad.desktop with the following:

	    #!/usr/bin/env xdg-open

	    [Desktop Entry]

	    Version=1.0

	    Type=Application

	    Terminal=false

	    Name[en_US]=Launchpad

	    Exec=dbus-send --session --type=method_call --dest=org.gnome.Shell /org/gnome/Shell org.gnome.Shell.Eval string:'Main.overview.show(); if (! Main.overview.viewSelector._showAppsButton.checked) {Main.overview.viewSelector._showAppsButton.checked = true;} else {Main.overview.hide();};'

	    Comment[en_US]=Launcher

	    Name=Launchpad

	    Comment=Launcher

	[/CODE]

I then opened up the Show Applications button and added it to My Favorites.

Don't forget to chmod +x Launchpad.desktop!
