You are right, but the last time, I didn't do it...

Amigo, vou só a seguir testar os novos patches xcpm a ver se ativam o meu PM. Tenho tudo a funcionar no X-99 excepto o PM. Se conseguir, mando te a minha EFI. Abraço :)

Ok guys, excuse me since I haven't been closely following MorenoAv's plight with getting his video going but I'd like to ask him a question. MorenoAv, do you by any chance have multiple EFI partitions on your system? If so, is it possible you're applying this edits to the wrong one? Sorry if this info has already been confirmed etc... Sometimes it is the most obvious things that we over look.

I hope that the performance can be good in APFS + HDD.

Yep, and it doesn't take to much time to boot like High Sierra

No, i replace the kexts in clover/kexts/other... then reboot an run de runme app, and then send the results... this is what I do evrytime, and the result is the kexts don't load...

The only thing that I do is running kext utility to repair permissions, but not this last time...

You might have some older kexts in S/L/E. When I did an upgrade rather than a fresh install to Mojave it left my kexts in there. Those ones will always load over the same ones in kexts others.

By the way, as a general question, I'm using intelmausi but network keeps connecting then disconnecting like every second. What works for an Intel GbE LAN chip?

here is where the originalAPFS.EFI jumpstarted I posted came from, I simply extracted the one from my ROM instead of taking the time to locate the original post.

HBP

The reason for that question HBP, is because if you open that APFS you uploaded yesterday with an Hex editor, it will show the exact code quoted by @cecekpawon, while if you open the APFS from the link you provided from @griven post it will show another, this happened while you extracted the APFS file, because you should right click on the module, and then select: extract as is, using UEFITool like the screenshot above:

Thanks for that link anyway ^_^

Or maybe could it be B0D3 for HDMI, i mean he doesn't have HDMI Audio patch in B0D3?

Maybe try to delete Ethernet from network preferences, and also network things from L\Preferences and L\Preferences\SystemConfiguration. IntelMausi is for Intel LAN, or try other versions from @RehabMan repos and @Mieze

this is how I extracted it, as I have discovered, even with SIP off, Mojave Protects files it thinks are sacred. the file uploaded was from Mojave right after I got it back up and running, the original is larger (3905 bytes) but Mojave refuses to read it for some reason.

That's happening to me too… or was. It's ceased now for whatever reason. Also doesn't do it when there's aggressive throughput (multi MB/s). Could be a power management issue?

Edit: Never mind, keeps randomly disconnecting again.

Hi ellaosx,

If that s true, how do we solve that, or is a dead end?

Your MoBo is using ALC892. Have you tried AppleALC 1.2.8v2 with boot flag -lilubetaall ?

You can also try injecting Layout ID 2/5/7 in your Clover config.

Point is, ALC892 should work fine.

Just keep in mind it needs the default/vanilla AppleHDA.kext. NO need for audio patches in Config.

I would recommend trying AppleALC first. VoodooHDA is good when you have no other choice. But, last time I tried it, it didn't have quite the best results.

Have you tried RehabMan's version of IntelMausiEthernet kext from here ? I'm not using an Intel chipset, so I can't confirm this working. But read people have had better results with this version.

I guess it wouldn't hurt giving this one a try, as well, in case you haven't already.

First one of the downloads should be the most recent one. So I'd start with that.

By the way, I also had similar issues (disconnections when trying to download something heavier) with Killer E2201 before. But that was because I was using the wrong kext. No issues after switching to AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext. But anyway, I digress. Point is, I doubt this is a power management issue. :)

Thanks. I'll give it a shot.

Not sure what the difference is supposed to be other than its degraded to build on 10.11 SDK bc people are way too into old things here.

Well, as I said, I can't confirm this working since I'm not using an Intel chipset. :) BUT, in my experience with RehabMan's kexts, I can assure you the man knows what he's doing. Also, with the little research I did on the issue, on other forums, people seem to have had better results with this version. So that's why I thought I'd suggest it here.

Now, whether or not that will work for you...there is only one way to find out. :))

Deleted:

/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/Settings.plist

/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist

Now working normal. @surfinchina this should resolve your issue as well.

Edit: Okay. It's stable for ~15mins, then goes haywire again. Strangeness.

Edit2: Disabled ASPM in BIOS. Network connectivity stable for over 30mins now. 10.14 might be more aggressive about increasingly annoying power savings "features".

Edit3: Ethernet connectivity reverts to throwing a fit & dying when attempting to iTunes sync iPhone over WiFi.

892 works fine here. :)

Could you please @arsradu help @MorenoAv to get Sound working? Because he have the same ALC chip as you, the ALC892, we scratched our head to help him with no luck? I've uploaded to him the AppleALC 1.2.8 v2 you shared to me and that worked, but it seems that something is wrong on he's EFI or S\L\E <> L\E ^_^ .
