move the Wifi/BT card off the M.2 shared slot (what you have explained is that your system is sharing resources with the first Pcie slot and the NVME slot) move the card to slot 3 or 4 (the last PCIE slot) should fix the read/write speeds.

I get 1855MB/s write, 2450MB/s read with an Evo 960.

But my WIFI/BT doesn't work other slots. But I will try that.

Do you have any other sata drives attached, I have a m.2 that shares bandwidth with one of the sata slots if attached.

Your interpretation is fine, but you have ran into the small print disclaimer, so to speak. My motherboard's manual says the same thing, just about word for word. Later though, in the small print section, the manual informs me that if I put a SATA type NVME drive in that M.2 slot, I will lose the regular SATA 0 port because of the bus sharing. Putting a pci-e type drive in there has no such restrictions.

I think HBP's approach will be the easiest to try, not to overlook it being the least expensive. That should get you to having consistent SATA speeds for the drive. After that, the adapter should get you a little more speed, along the lines of what Pavo posted, but that is a conversation more for you and your cash flow.

The results I posted are fairly steady. If I run the test suite for a bunch of trials, I get some results that are faster and some that are slower, but mostly similar to the one I posted. (I do not run the suite when backups or indexing is occurring.)

I only can give you a glib answer about why your BIOS does not retain the setting. It maybe that the BIOS sees your wifi card and decides to make sure it takes priority and acts accordingly. The BIOS on my motherboard will not retain the onboard clock setting I enter no matter which time zone I set it to, it always reverts to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on the next startup.

Yes, I am using SATA ports. But my manual saying;

The M.2 socket shares SATA ports with SATA Express.

So I left my "A" ports empty. I am using 3/4/6 for my HDD and SSD.

I don't want to buy new adapter 'cause I will probably upgrade my system when Intel release 9700K which looks it will release in October.

Anyway, finally, I found a way set up to BIOS settings to M.2. If I choose M.2 alone system restart itself and turn the settings SATAExpress automatically. After this settings never turn itself to SATA Express. Here is what I did;

Under Onboard Devices Configuration;

PCI-EX16_3 Band Width must be x4

after this setting, I can choose M.2 Under SATA Mode Configuration.

But now I lost my sata port I don't know which one but I will test it tomorrow.

After this changing, my speed increased. I've done the test five times in a row and I got damn the pretty great score this time.

Write speed score always 1500MB but Read score first time I got 2700MB.

Probably I must play more and find the right settings for my system.

Thank you again, guys, for all help. You are really helped a lot.

Does anyone have the Problem with a corrupted "iTunes Library.itl" on nearly every Start of this f… Program ? It's really annoying. Restoring a Backup didn't help - iTunes says that this Library is corrupt ( and this Library worked before ) …

You could try this for a possible fix: https://lifehacker.com/how-to-fix-an-itunes-library-corrupted-after-enabling-a-1715400220

Or this: https://www.lairware.com/guide/fix_damaged_library.html

Pretty sure it's not a general issue though (I personally have never encountered it).

This was one of the first Steps I tried, but I don't have Apple Music and it didn't help for me. My Problem was, iTunes thought the Previous Library is also corrupt ( but this worked fine with iTunes 12.8 in High Sierra ). I've zipped all the Files containing the Library, so I've more previous Libraries. The only One who worked was from iTunes 12.4.3 ( Magic, this was the last good iTunes-Version, since iTunes 10.7 ).

This was the second Step I did after the first Time iTunes 12.9 crashed my Library. So I've used the XML-File and recreated the Library -> a few Starts later this Library was also corrupt.

I think it's a Problem with iTunes 12.9 and it's "iTunesLibrary.framework" in "/Library/Frameworks", because I've downgraded this Framework to it's 12.8 Counterpart and it looks like it works now. My Library is a little bit big - so I've 7641 Songs, 162 Movies and 7 TV-Shows in my Library. I think iTunes has a small Problem maintaining this Database. I'd also deactivated the Option "Keep iTunes Media Folder organized". I think it shouldn't be a Problem for iTunes, if my Media Library is on a NAS-Device …

is there a problem for quick view? on my system without Webdrivers or any Nvidia drivers I can quick preview JPG and JPEG also MOV files with all the editing option that have in the new 10.14, is that a specific problem you have or a global problem?

Just waiting for Nvidia release the new Webdrivers :)

Correction : Doesn't work, my Media Library is corrupt again. Nothing done, closed iTunes yesterday normally and today it doesn't work. Sometimes I hate Apple …

The problem of opening JPG or JPEG file is only related to Preview because the file opens with Photos and Capture and all other app available on App Store
So I concluded that this is Preview the problem :yes:

Here JPG with Photos

No it will be 10.14 with a new build number

What I mean is that if I don't reinstall to 10.14 official release, will the 10.14 GM update to 10.14.1 when it comes out?
