I've got a bootable USB stick which I'm using to install Mojave on a mobile hard disk. The first step was successful setting ig-platform-id to 0x12345678. However, in the second step, I'm getting an error saying “The installer resources were not found.” I've done some digging and found some solutions (like, updating date, apfs.efi) which are not working. NOTE: ioreg is extracted using 10.13.6 and boot.log file is extracted from the second step of installation. DEBUG.zip My suggestion is use the single phase install-method as 10.12 via @dosdude1's macOS Mojave patcher or common single-phase MBR-Manual-Method. It will work for you.

Also a corrupted installer USB can also make this happen. I used USB 3 port to install HS, I had no problem back then.

Well Mojave has a new USB port limit patch, so without that patch this could be your issue.

Pavo
Major changes for this beta on real cMP (MacPro5,1)s, Update has new firmware 138.0.0.0 bootrom. This update does not require for you to have a Apple-EFI GPU in order for it to upgrade the firmware, of course no boot screen but at least its allowing non-AppleGPUs to be used for upgrading firmware. Also a HUGE update that allows non-Apple GPUs to have full 5.0GT/s PCI-E link speed. 4

fusion71au
DB6--->DB7 also upgraded OK on my legacy BIOS laptop, Dell XPS M1530. Same procedure as DB6, upgrade in place on HFS+ partition after making full installer with @Dosdude1's Mojave patcher. Legacy GeforceTesla kexts still working with QE/CI and so is Core2Duo kp workaround - com.apple.telemetry.plugin patched in place with @crazybirdy's mojave2core. Stefan Milev
Anyone with a sandy bridge processor and z77 chipset having sleep working correctly? What smbios are you using? I'm pretty much without sleep working correctly from the beginning of the Mojave betas. On previous betas it was restarting on wake. This beta 7 is waking, but looks like the screens are not. Sleep was fine on Sierra and High Sierra. Power management is working fine. I can upload my EFI folder when I get back from work. ANONIMNIQ
Guys, after I update to DP6 last week can't boot to the system anymore. After start loading just restarts at some point even after I use mojave2core patch. Can't boot to recovery either, I'm not sure how to fix this. Do I need new patch or something else? Apple changed the binary in DB6. You can try replacing the telemetry file with one from High Sierra 10.13.6 (attached file), boot to Mojave in single user mode, then rebuild caches/prelinkedkernel. * Download + extract attached file to root / of USB disk * Boot Mojave in single user mode from Clover Main Menu * Type the following commands, after inserting USB disk (assuming name of disk is "USB"). Press <Enter> after each line... fsck -fy mount -uw / cp -R /Volumes/USB/com.apple.telemetry.plugin /System/Library/UserEventPlugins/ touch /System/Library/Extensions && kextcache -u / reboot 6 hours ago, Badruzeus said: Any of you get System Degradation with Mojave Beta 7?
