SavageAUS
Thanks SavageAUS, I hope so, that this time all works at first try... Rome wasn't built in a day. Do a fresh vanilla install with only what's needed to install then tackle one thing at a time slowly from most important to least. Keep track of what you do and any changes you make so you can revert them easily. Backup often when things are working correctly. The people here are great and supportive, not to mention helpful.Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
arsradu
Indeed. Please, do not add ANYTHING related to sound yet. Especially patches. Also, once installed, DO make a copy of your AppleHDA.kext somewhere on your computer. And, as SavageAUS said (I couldn't have said it any better myself): Quote Keep track of what you do and any changes you make so you can revert them easily. Backup often when things are working correctly. Perfect.
Guest ricoc90
Mojave runs fine on my Optiplex 790, however I'm having issues with light mode. The menu bar and other "overlay" items don't have any transparency, they're just plain grey. Anyone else with this issue? The dock and side panel are okay. But no, I can't say I've seen that before.
ammoune78
I do not know why people want to get me wrong here in any way as I have seen, and talking about order or ROM while we are in the third day of helping the MAN. We all here are for helping, only one person here that said the trick is @In-N-Out, and I started to follow hes thing and reading the IOREG and diskutil and the files that I sent, this helped me the find the problem of @MorenoAv. So I think the solution is here, also he don't need to format the partition but the entire drive as I said, he need to click on that DRIVE and simply click after on format, the screenshot of Pavo already mentioned it. it's simple like that: Please you tired me to much with that obvious thinking bad about me, start having good thinking before the bad, start understanding before, this is so bad and makes me sick, why just for searching for a help! So bad feeling now. The first started to many run me, and didn't see the trick, and he kicked me by words, the second one came also, and did same thing, and SavageAUS also just kicking by words. So tell me who find that solution starting from the first post until the last, two of us, and you still continue. Yes I feel so sick in my heart now with these words, because I search for a solution? Anyway, I'll say good word, thanks

Remove any patched DSDT/SSDTs if you use them and test. The IOREG shows the layout-id is set to 0 which is wrong. config.plist.zip Edited June 14, 2018 by Cyberdevs

ammoune78
Please @MorenoAv, remove my files even if they doesn't did any KP or even if they are working on GIGABYTE 9 SERIES as shown in my signature, and even if the SSDT have only _DSMs that only put the needed thing into the desired device and even if the config have the minimal and even if we have same MANUFACTURER, and even if nothing special like machine poison. The other one caused too many KP's that I opted to star with my old one... Ok, as SavageAUS suggested, make a backup of your current config and try the one he posted. I cleaned your config even more than he did, so we can start real fresh. NOW, one thing you should know is that Clover supports booting from specific config.plist. And you can select it in Clover UI. So, let's say you want to make a backup of your current config and you can't boot with the new one. Since you renamed your current config let's say config_bkp.plist, Clover will not boot from it by default. But you can still select it at Clover UI Settings! Ooor, you can do it the other way around and keep your config.plist as default, and make your tests with the new config which you can name config2.plist or something. And of course, you will need to select THAT ONE at boot. Now, I cleaned your config and it might look a little bit too clean. But that's ok. We can add everything back one by one. That's not a problem. Anyway, you have my version of your config attached. config.plist.zip As I said. If KP on boot, then just boot from the other config using Clover's settings. You can select the other config on boot. Edited June 14, 2018 by arsradu
ammoune78
I'll forget all the things because you still have same problem the layout id doesn't get injected, it's 0 in ioreg, while in the config you uploaded is 1. I didn't mean you by removing but other that said SSDT things, because he only he don't prefer them, so don't think bad on me to please, I was pleased by helping you, that's it, but removing things was for other user. That said you still have the same problem for that drive and EFI, I'll leave my words and @In-N-Out to, about that problem.
