[pre-release] macOS Mojave

A few first impressions:

Little Snitch isn't working now. My Vega fixup (for getting all DP ports) and Vega speed up (to increase clock speeds) kexts aren't working any more.

My Geekbench is up to 47,500 from 43,000 but GPU is down to 150,000 from 195,000. Cinebench is a little down on CPU and a heap down on OpenGL - 135 from 180 on high Sierra.

So for the Vega FE it's a bit of a backward step right now.

edit: Introduced in 10.13.6 and is the same with Mojave, I can't mount EFI in Clover Configurator.

It seems also that apple does no longer supports most of the older gpus, for the Nvidia side maybe we can bring something back with the web drivers, but I hope that non metal capable cards will work

Works perfectly fine with GTX 650. No Nvidia drivers needed.

well not bad for beta 1 , i installed thanks to PMheart clover update fix, I even got partial Nvidia drivers support

unfortunately flat package editor no longer works with HS or Mojave so the only way for me to modify the Nvidia driver package is by installing an old version of Mac OS and that doesn't warranty that the web drivers are going to work anyway in Mojave

so is too much job for just beta 1, sometimes even after modifying the web drivers installer to bypass the system build # and modifying NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext to add the right build number in order to inject the kext file to be able to load the web drivers, some times it works and some times it doesn't, too bad I can't finish testing but soon beta 2 will be out and will continue to moved on so there is no point to fight with beta 1 to fully load the web drivers, at least I can change resolution and the system usable like that better than having broken down graphics

forgot to mentioned, everything else works, wifi, lan, audio etc

sorry for my bad english

Glad to see you've got almost everything working. Nice!

I was just curious, for audio, I suppose you're using something other than AppleAlc + Lilu, right? Cause, for as far as I saw, that one doesn't work yet.

the gtx 650 is not a so old card, I mean geforce 8XXX, 9XXX and 2XX series, the really old ones, the fermi and the Kepler cards are metal capable, so they are still supported, and I am using a gtx 650 to run Mojave too, so I know that the gtx 650 works

and also older intel and and cards are not supported yet

Understood. :) Well, to me the GTX 650 is kinda old. :)) I mean, we're at series 10xx now.... The 6xx series has been released somewhere around 2012, if I'm not mistaken... I mean, it's not the same age as the dinosaurs, but it's not really a recent card, either. :))

I don't know...to me, seems kinda to be expected for Apple to drop support for really old cards like the ones you mentioned... I mean, how long would you support those cards for, if you were Apple? :))

Of course, just my humble opinion. :)

Have you tried the build posted by PMheart a few pages before?

Or the one above (4515)? If not, try that one. I suppose it already has the changes from PMheart's post.

Use old kexts from HS.

Guy's is there a way to install with no APFS as i want to install Windows in the same drive, please, please, please? I deleted the container, but it erased the installed 10.14 from that drive on the laptop :(

Use Paragon Hard Disk Manager for Mac Trial to shrink space from APFS then create NTFS partition and install with no problems.
