fbraz3 Posted July 17, 2018 Share Posted July 17, 2018 Hi all, I'm having post instalation issues with this setup Dell Optiplex 3050 - Intel Core i5 (7th Gen) 7500 / 3.4 GHz - Intel HD Graphics 630 - Motherboard 08NPPY (unfortunatly there are not detailed info about this motherboard on google) - OSX Sierra I'm trying to install sierra on this hardware. Boot from pendrive and instalation process are both ok. On first boot, i'm installing clover and intel hd 6xx drivers using [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], but on first reboot im having a kernel panic (reboot loop) Thanks in advance =) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bronxteck Posted July 17, 2018 Share Posted July 17, 2018 (edited) you need to set DVMT Pre-Allocated, Variable post 8 you would have to use firewolfs shell program booted from a USB and selecting that USB using dell F12 boot selector... not clover or normal SHELL (if you want to see what the DVMT is set to before making the change type in the command without the 0x03) you can change the DVMT value by typing in setup_var 0x795 0x03 at the grub prompt another option you can try is lilu and intelgraphicsDVMTfixup plugin Edited July 17, 2018 by bronxteck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
