For long time, I can’t use it for Hackintosh under Sierra, sometimes it freeze.
 
 
 
After search lots information on this amazing site, still can’t, even turn off Integrated Graphics Processor.
 
 
 
Yesterday, after install high Sierra.
 
Still happens.
 
 
 
Today I solved this freeze problem.
 
 
 
①enter bios, turn off Integrated Graphics Processor.
 
②fix the frequency of gpu, don’t let be “auto”
 
 
 
Turbo, I tried on and off, doesn’t matter.
 
 
 
Easy and Done.
 
Now Running lots of video site for testing whole day.
 
No freeze!

Since you say, a CPU upgrade solved your issue, lemme ask one thing: did you update the BIOS firmware before? In my case, it looks like the random crashes stopped after I installed a BIOS upgrade, which contains updates for the Intel Microcodes... In case you still have your old CPU, please consider trying this out and report back.

correct, i also had same experience with intelhd 530 (random freeze).

And fixed by update the bios, and no need to spend any money to change the cpu.
