Did you try with 10.13.6 beta kexts???

Unfortunately, 10.13.6 beta AMD kexts performed no better in 10.14 vs 10.13.5 kexts (CI but no QE acceleration) :(

I managed to get AMDRadeonX3000 to load by also regressing IOAcceleratorFamily2.kext to its HS version ---> still no QE in Mojave for HD5770...

NB:  My HD5770 works natively in Sierra and High Sierra with full CI/QE.  Just Clover ATI Graphics Injection enabled, Vervet FB + VideoPorts=4, no FakeID...

My HD6770 is just a HD5700 rebranded but to make it work under HS, I had have to rollback kexts from 10.12.6 (all these you mentioned before except AMD5000Controller) + Clover Fake-ID.

Give a try with 10.12.6 kexts but no guarantee it will work better (or worse  :P )

Taking kexts from High Sierra to Mojave seems to be only a temporary measure. Besides, if we end up in Mojave final with this solution, my guess is that the os will be harder to update.

I know that High Sierra can boot even with ”Inject Intel” and disable the function of the GPU, so that the OS uses the onboard graphics, altough not offcially supported. Please correct me if I say something stupid. If newer Macs do not have Nvidia GPUs, only ATI ones, perhaps I can use a motherboard with onboard graphics and no GPU, if the basic functions of the OS work at a decent level, I mean on -x . I am not interested in high perfermance, especially graphics high performance. Garageband/Logic Pro do not require high graphics performance. Last three editions of macOS updated smoothly each time on my present configuration and I would like to keep it like this. I have an old Nvidia GPU but, if it does not work, i can always set for „Inject Intel” and use the graphics card only as a connecter to the monitor, since the motherboard does not an exit for monitor.

Thats a good idea, I tested Nvidia gt210 and 8400gs cards they booted but have 800x600 resolution everything is huge.  I will try changing out Nvidia kexts and the 80211 as my Atheros card went dark as well.    BCM4360 works well though.

What Intel graphics do you have and what Nvidia card?

Mojave still has Capri and Azul for intel and some Nvidia kexts which they will eventually add to.

I have Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8500 and it includes graphics functions, and Nvidia GeForce 6200 (more then 10 years old GPU, surely no Metal supported). The Asus motherboard does not include onboard graphics, but the CPU seems to have onboard graphics, because I see that, if I boot with Inject Intel instead of Nvidia, it works, but graphics shows 6 mb or something. In this case, I guess the Nvidia card turns into a mere interface for the graphics function into the CPU and the GPU is deactivated. I may be wrong.

I plan to trade this PC with a newer one, with Intel i3 and without a GPU, to run Mojave in safe mode.

The case for Nvidia GPU's seems to be a little bit different - Some users reported being able to get there GPU's no-metal work with QE/CI under Mojave. I guess these GPU's work OOB under previous macOS releases so that state should not change, at least for the moment.

We also have to wait to see what Nvidia will propose with web-drivers Mojave support.

I was told it had something like HD 2000 on board. I am not sure, I could not find conclusive information via google.

Anyone with Vega noticed the big jump in performance in LuxMark luxball ?

My reference Vega 64 all stock clocks score went to 28K from 25K in luxball

Yes. Also Geekbench went from 149000 to 182000 for me.

My 7900x went from 6100/43500 to 6300/48000 in CPU Geekbench :thumbsup_anim:

In reality though I'm getting some artifacts in windows and my main software isn't accelerated now. Eagerly anticipating a more refined beta and/or a fixed software :P

Thats really cool, I'm expecting a lot from 10.14 as this 1st beta looks more stable on my system and much better than 10.13 1st beta, no artefacts here at all and of course more performance are always welcomed

Just installed 10.13.6 beta 2 and GPU is even faster than Mojave - Geekbench 215000!!!
