Will test it later for [ 2 ] 2018-02-06 20:59:56 .. 091-65991 .. 10.13.4.17E150f Combo Update Beta

 

You need reboot and do it again.

Honestly I am trying to update High Sierra from 10.13.1 to 10.13.4 but never get success :( every time I trying to update I got trouble :(  every time system restarts while installing update (Combo + App Store on both cases ) and now this script also not working for me :(

You didn't really download the 17E150f, I think you use 17E139j pkg for 17E150f, so you get the error.

You can use HowTo Q/A Q8. How to update 10.13.x combo-update to MBR without downloading the full installer app again?

It will work fine if you download the pkg with script, not the fake pkg from your hdd.

It will work fine if you download the pkg with script, not the fake pkg from your hdd.

Update macOS High Sierra 10.13.x, works fine with both GPT and MBR, and MBR will not update Recovery HD partition. 

 

After updating finished and reboot, Safari and App Store will stop connecting to the internet.

To fix this, need to run the following code in Terminal, and reboot after finished:

sudo update_dyld_shared_cache -force

Told you,

 

reboot.

remove /tmp/091-65991

Run installscript to update 17E150f again

 

You can't use the fake 17E139j pkg from your hdd to install 17E150f.

Updating has became very boring :)

Nothing to do (because I have modified from first beta to only 17 version for NvidiaWeb thanks @gengik84 patcher for it)

 

new port limit patch is working as beta 1


Ok less boring I thought :)

 

In my rig it is not working anymore one useful patch I was using

I am unable to get HDMI audio working on my GTX 1080ti. Tried the 1. clover_command ssdt, 2. HDMIAudio.kext and even 3. lilu+NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext

 

But none of the methods enable HDMI audio.

 

Apart from that, everything working great. 

 

Rolling back to 10.13.3

Rolling back to 10.13.3

In my Z97 & P6TSE Intel hackintosh need one more reboot to complete the first stage of installation for update from 17E139j to17E150f (or from 17E150f to 17E150g) with Clover. No problem for the second stage of installation or after that. HDMI audio or DP audio still working in AMD R9 290X or MSI 5770 Hawk cards.

Also two Intel HD4600 display shown in System Information.

Are these two issues related to MacOS bug or Clover ?

Ha! Could use some boredom here ;)

 

My beta 2 experience:

RX 560 still doesn't work (meaning Safari and Appstore not showing any picture). 

Radeon deinit in Clover (4392) has no effect anymore, SSDT-patch needed to get to the desktop. Whatevergreen 1.1.5 seems to create power management issues, fans are spinning the whole time now.

Interesting: when I add HD 630 as second GPU (not connectorless) then it is showing up two times in system profiler.

For me, 10.13.4.beta 1 and 2 are TOTALLY useless:

 

WHY? because of  every several seconds i got a few seconds freeze in all actions (except mouse movements) and than work continues as nothing was happened.

First of all i mentioned it to the HDMI-Soundoutput, because it is not working acceptable. Systemsounds only work from "time to time" - not reproduceable. Movie Sound output via VLC player and HDMI (encoded) to a DENON X4000 AV-Receiver is also working just from "time to time".

 

But the biggest problem is the several seconds completely systemfreeze - which also accoures on starting/quitting apps. THIS DRIVES ME NUTS!

The same setup was working for all 10.13.x releases/betas perfectly for month.

 

I know, they increased drivers for their latest AMD hardware, which is included in several latests iMac for now and i know, they increase drivers for using with iGPU. But for me, the new drivers are @ this point totally {censored}. Well, Multimonitor-Setup ist working as expected - but SOUND: don't talk about it yet.

 

I NEVER used onbaord sound in all my systems/setups before. Always used HDMI-sound through SSDT-setup implementation.

 

And believe me: i tried everything so far: started from the beginning with CLOVER setup - i now have a complete reinvenstigation of my config.plist, kext files, smbios, dsdt, ssdt etc. NONE of them worked as expected when booting into 10.13.4 beta. SAME setup (no matter which one i tried for 10.13.4) using to boot 10.13.3 and everthing is fine: working HDMI-Audio and absolute NO lag or any kind of system freeze for several seconds.

 

Inform me when 10.14 has announced. For that long i stay with 10.13.3.
