nickosx
My macOS 10.13.2 installation which worked perfectly under VMware Workstation 14.1.0 goes into a boot loop after upgrading to version 14.1.1. I uninstalled unlocker2.1, upgraded, and re-installed unlocker 2.1. All other (non-macOS) machines run just fine. How would I tackle this?
nickosx
Issue solved (dummy me)... Started unlocker2.1.1's win-install.cmd from PS6 having the active codepage set to 65001. Didn't realize that the installer threw an error message regarding the codepage. So I was actually running the unpatched version. Started from cmd with the codepage set to 850 and no probs... Awfully sorry for the noise!
jorgemtds
I was having the same problem and had to downgrade to VMware 12.5.9 to get it working again. Can you please elaborate further on your solution? What is PS6 and what is the codepage for?

You can type "cpch 850" in cmd or powershell to change the codepage, then run win-install.cmd to apply the patch. *Edit: still have the reboot loop issue, but after several boot it managed to get in the system. *Edit again: low the CPUs from 4 to 2 solve the issue for me. I'm using vmware 14.
