.....

is the second part:

0f839704 0000 -> 90909090 9090

really needed?

BTW, I guess I already know well the originating thread where these patches were discovered by fredwst and PmHeart...

Hi

you should read on IM where these patches are discovered by fredwst and then by PmHeart

She shared a patch which delete port limit at all so it is not important write your correct port number with her patch

also @Matthew82 posted it here

original post below

            #109

I was indeed thinking on a different thread of PMHeart, not related with 10.13.4 Beta

Yes. This is original patch from PMHeart. It working so I try to don't unnecessarily complicating my life.

Maybe you are patching wrong kext? :) Now it must be AppleUSBXHCI no AppleUSBXHCIPCI.

Change from AppleUSBXHCIPCI to AppleUSBXHCI... a small and tiny detail I did not realise at all..  :P  :hysterical:

Now everything works flawless with Name*: AppleUSBXHCI  Find*[HEX]: 837d940f 0f839704 0000  Replace*[HEX]: 837d941a 90909090 9090  :thumbsup_anim:

attachicon.gifZrzut ekranu 2018-02-07 o 17.12.29.pngThere no need to connect any device to TB card show in ioreg.

Im asking because I have one unresolved problem in my hack. With TB card hack won't go sleep on second time. Without all working OK.

I see... You might have a different TB PCI implementation in your SSDT... Could you provide details?

In my case, it only shows up under "PCI" or in IOREG, when a TB Device is connected...

I reloaded the IOREG Dump with TB in post       #235

BTW... I have a weird problem with the TBEX 3 and my LaCie TB drive.. The latter only gets initialised on Boot (before passing the BIOS Splash Screen) after removing and replugging the TBEX 3 from/to it's slot. A firmware update for the TBEX 3 did not remove this issue..

I think this is it ...

BTW: I simply fallowed KGP guide,

Yes, before PC didn't want sleep after 2nd time

but after last BIOS patch (shared by KGP if I remember well)

(+correct BIOS settings)

then (very important) PCI implementations,

finally, all kind of Wake/sleep (auto or forced) works perfect,

and the same thing with TB devices.

Matt, have you TB3 in your PCI implementations (of course in your ....aml)? (and the rest of PCI devices too..?)

You have the same MB like us, so it's should be easy as ..... :):P

Yet another Guide Update - Implementation of 10.13.4 Beta 2 (17E150f)

post-1362934-0-74757500-1518048950_thumb.png

Note, that the USB port Limit Patch in the config.plist for 10.13.3 (17D2047)

Name* Find*[Hex] Replace* [Hex] Comment
AppleUSBXHCIPCI 837d8c10 837d8c19 10.13.3 USB Port Limit Patch

must be updated for 10.13.4 Beta 2 (17E150f) to:

Name* Find*[Hex] Replace* [Hex] Comment
AppleUSBXHCI 837d940f 0f839704 0000 837d941a 90909090 9090 10.13.4 USB Port Limit Patch

under "KextsToPatch" in Section "Kernel and Kext Patches" of Clover Configurator, as else not all available XHC USB ports will be natively implemented.

Like always many thanks to @PMHeart from InsanelyMac for providing the respective XHC USB port limit patches.

For further details see Section E.4) - USB Configuration

You can update your iMac Pro macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 (17D2047) build to macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 Beta 2 (17E150f) directly via the Appstore after successfully registration for Apple's Beta Program. However, it is rather recommended to clone your 10.13.3 (17D2047) System Disk with Carbon Copy Cloner (CCC) to a test drive and to update to 10.13.4 Beta 2 (17E150f) on the latter.

Enjoy and have fun,

Yes , you're right ! but how that is the question ?

There is no any magic for rx580/480. Insert to slot, check RadeonDelnit and everything is set.

Perhaps using DP port ?

Port have nothing to do. Maybe you have bad card or same mess in your hackintosh setup.

@Loloflat6

CinebenchZ OpenGl results are very dependent also from cpu Higher turbo boost clock

In my opinion You should also check if your CPU has right value in cpu benchmark and if it reaches high frequency also

Update of the Update - New macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 Beta 2 Build 17E150g!

post-1362934-0-69218000-1518213144_thumb.png
  • At first glance no major changes/improvements when compared with 10.13.4 Beta 2 (17E150f)
  • Build number still does not relate with former iMac Pro special builds
  • Persistent "Model Name" error in system profiler under "Hardware" of Apple's System report (iMac instead of iMacPro)
post-1362934-0-08975900-1518213182_thumb.png
  • Persistent issues at least with the NVIDIA HDAU implementation

Enjoy and have fun,
