Hm, are you sure you deleted kernelcache before reboot? New kext should not message this way.

i use fakeSMC from HWSensors package of sourceforge.net which difference between the two packets?

Almost OK but I see no messages from LPC chip. I may propose that it should be Winbond as you have ASUS motherboard.

Try to start it manually from terminal

sudo chown -R root:wheel W836x.kext

sudo kextutil -v W836x.kext

Why it is located in /Library/Extensions? It may be a reason why it is not started.

 

Actually all not signed kexts status are "No" ( FakeSMC, IntelMausi, GeforceSensor, IntelCPUSensor). And they are working well.

So as you suggest i deleted HWinfo kext from L/E and installed to S/L/E. Nothing change.

SIP is disabled.

And how to set kext loadable status to "Yes" ?

Hi Slice,

I have a huge problem with my Yosemite 10.10.5, clover 3220 (efi only installation) boot since i've tried out your installation procedure.

I've checked almost every aspect, FakeSMC, hwinfo, Geforce (booth kexts), W836x (cause of my Asus board). After some testing without restarts I've found out that this does not help me cause I was stuck without cpu temperature.

I'm using 4 kexts in my /efi/clover/kexts/10.10 path with FakeSMC.kext.

 

Here is what I've done which brings me headache and where I need your help, I've broken it up into different steps to help you determine what I'm doing wrong.

 

1)

Then - even before my next restart - I've decided to delete the hwinfo.kext out of S/L/E. Just cause of curiosity i think. Maybe that was totaly stupid, dunno.

 

2) 

After deleting hwinfo.kext I've deceided to restart my pc. And now I'm stuck in my boot process. I've made a screenshot of the last lines which clover print in verbose boot, then the PC reboots. I'm not able to hold the boot process as long as i want to read every step. But with the screenshot I was able to identify - and i have read it before - that the NVClockX makes some problems in certain cases.

So I've tried first to tell clover to ignore NVCLockX in the boot process, this doesn't helped. "No cache boot", "Single User", etc., every option fail.

Luckly I'm still able to boot into my 10.9.5 installation on another ssd with chameleon.

I've thought: "ok I just delete every kext in S/L/E which I've installed with HWMonitor", I've done that ,but this also doesn't solve the problem. I still get the exact same error described in 2)

Ok I thought, maybe it is the kext cache which thinks still that the different kexts deleted in S/L/E are available, I tried to update the kext cache with

  • kext wizard - gives me the information that it was able to update the kext cache on my yosemite installation, but that wasn't true, it was the old one, same boot problem as in 2)
  • I've deleted the kext cache by hand and restarted in hope that os x updates the kext cache by itself when it is not available,  but no bootup, same error message as in 2), after reboot into 10.9.5 still not kext cache in yosemite.
  • I've used a terminal comand given in some 10.11. installation description from insanelymac to update the kext cache by hand, but that failed (i will post the commands as soon as i'm back home).

 

6)

Ok last try from yesterday: just add every installed kext from HWMonitor installation routine to S/L/E and ad the old kext cache again into S/L/Cache to boot, but still the NVClockX error.

 

Can someone help me please, I dont like to reinstall Yosemite from scratch just because of this 'small' error.

I'm so frustrated.

NVClock and Geforce can't be used simultaneously.

I think you have to delete NVClock.

Delete also kernelcache and reboot after that.
