maiconjs
I am with an Asus A45A with an i5 3210m, with an HD4000, and I installed the HS in it. In the first moments, everything happens well, but in some restarts, the graphical acceleration is lost. Has already rebuild the cache, but without success. The loss is quite random, in some cases, after I install a network kext, or a kext of trackpad, in other cases, just the fact of restarting and is already lost. How do I proceed to find the cause of the problem and solve it? https://imgur.com/IgMj0Mo Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/329672-randomic-lost-aceleration-graphics-on-hd4000/ Share on other sites
maiconjs
I use rehabman config for HD4000 low resolution. DVMT on bios is 64mb. The ig-platform-id is 01660003. maiconjs
What I say is, I have acceleration when I do the installation, and at some post-installation moments, but it's just reboot so I miss the acceleration. This model is not dual GPU. Could it be some hardware-related problem? Could it be something in the BIOS? maiconjs
Dock does not show sign of being transluscent on picture of post #1 but do you have any other evidence of loss of graphics acceleration? Post us a copy of your IOreg (saved output of IORegistryExplorer): 1) when you have graphics acceleration 2) when you don't Inside the zip are the requested files. An evidence is the DVD application, which does not open after losing the acceleration (image below). I reinstalled MacOS, put all the kexts for power, audio, bluetooth and wireless, and until then I had the graphics acceleration. The loss this time occurred when extracting the dsdt, I applied this patch: https://github.com/Yuki-Judai/dxxs-DSDT-Patch/blob/master/battery/battery_ASUS_A45VM.txt and put the kext RehabMan-Battery-2017-1001.zip. After reboot, I had the battery running but with no acceleration. maiconjs
Very weird behaviour indeed. I check your IOReg outputs and I can see that the accelerator is not loaded in the case w/o acceleration: IOReg_comparison.png Now, why this is happening... Can you: rebuild your cache and post the output of the kextcache command? remove the AICPUPM patch from your Clover kexts folder and try the attached Clover config? config.plist.zip I'll do it later because I'm at work right now. Is it recommended to use Olarila.command.zip to do the rebuild? http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=233120 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/329672-randomic-lost-aceleration-graphics-on-hd4000/#findComment-2535952 Share on other sites
maiconjs
Ok, I did the link commands posted, but now I do not have a boot. I crash on the screen "error loading kernel caches (0xe)" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/329672-randomic-lost-aceleration-graphics-on-hd4000/#findComment-2536028 Share on other sites
maiconjs
Then boot without cache or boot in single user mode to rebuild the cache manually at startup. Did you get any error when rebuilding the cache? I'm pretty sure you have a duff kext somewhere causing your troubles. Yes, I tried to boot in both ways, and got the screen informed above. maiconjs
Well, it also clears nvram and purges the disk. Have a look inside. Personally I recommend sticking to the manual standard commands as listed here: http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/9961-how-do-i-repair-permissions-and-rebuild-the-cache-yosemite-and-later/ Hey, man, you gave me an important clue. I reinstalled MacOS again, I redid all the steps, putting the AICPUPM, but this time I installed everything in S/L/E. (yes, I was performing kext injection, installing the essential kexts in/EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other). When installing the kext of the battery, I lost the acceleration again, but it was enough to use the olarila. command, and restart, which was there again with graphical acceleration. I am very thankful for your help, it was crucial to solving the problem and found that I was very wrong. Thanks also to Rehabman, his guide gave me a light on installing kexts on S/L/E. (See "Installing Kexts" section) https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/ UPDATE: I shouted victory before the hour. After six restart, the acceleration was lost again. I did the rebuild cache, no errors. This is driving me crazy and making me give up the Hackintosh Terminal Saved Output.txt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/329672-randomic-lost-aceleration-graphics-on-hd4000/#findComment-2536457 Share on other sites

maiconjs
Update A few months ago, I identified the problem that was in the BIOS, specifically in the Intel ME region. The Intel Managment Engine driver was not loaded into Windows due to a BIOS issue. This guide coming from the Win-Raid forum helped me with the solution of the problem: https://goo.gl/nE1CHW It is necessary to have a programmer device to make the modifications in the BIOS. I used the Skypro, but some people use Arduino to program the BIOS chip. I thank @Hervé very much for his dedication to solving my problem. chenzanyou
Hey, did you solve your problem of hardware acceleration failure after reboot; I'm the same as you; EM can't drive; and then QE/CI can't load. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/329672-randomic-lost-aceleration-graphics-on-hd4000/#findComment-2655260 Share on other sites
