(ICH 8) I have a Intel Dg35EC Mobo. and core2Duo 2.53Ghz.. Thxx for helping... First, you should try the 9.5 Voodoo kernel (google for it. It's amazing) Secondly, install (with kext helper) and try the kexts I'm sending you. Then give us a report if they work or not. In third place, if they work, praise the god Taruga. Where can i download the patcher please? http://osxupdate.blogspot.com/ HDA_888v0.1.zip

PS: GA-965P-S3 is my gigabyte mobo. ????????????? PLZZ HELP. some of those codec dumps are slightly different of what they should be. My advice is do your own codec dump. use a linux live cd and, in terminal, type (exactly with spaces and all, in one line): Code: cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#0 > /tmp/codec_dump_alc883.txt You'll find the codec_dump_alc883.txt file on the tmp folder. Copy it onto a pen and then drag and drop it onto the patcher. If the v.20 patcher doesn't work, try others. Some of them work better on some models - for more patchers go to http://osxupdate.blogspot.com/. Don't forget that you must have a real password (not a blank one) on your system for the patcher to work.
fryke
While this might sound pretty odd: How would I go about getting the original drivers back? I *think* restoring my brandnew iMac from a Hack's Time Machine archive f***d up my audio drivers. I had installed some odd version that made it work on my Hackintosh. How would I go about restoring Apple's official driver?
