________
Hi! I´m new here. I have a Intel DP35DP motherboard, and it uses Sigmatel STAC9271D for sound. Has anyone here got that to work as proper builtin sound?

Eyecube
See my topic for Lenovo 3000 N100 fix: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry521459 I also have a Soundmax 1986 on a Asus W3J and this technique didn't work for me. I used to have the sound volume working but w/o sound. With the HDA Updater, the sound still doesn't work and the volume is locked (grey). I've also tried the Azalia technique stated just above (braveskunk). I'm getting lost here ^^ But i'm still trying to find a solution, just 2 speakers is enough as i am on a laptop. Does anyone has the same problem? Thanks.

utcrew
Thanks Taruga. Yours alfa version of Alc861 finaly worked on my toshiba a100-813 (I only had to remove azallia). Things that works: -Stereo build in speakers. Line out (System preferences display three outputs Line out, two Internal Spekers. Just one is working both things works on that speakers and line out.) -Finally mic is working. Things that don't work: -system volume control is still grey (but i don't care). Once again BIG Thanks Taruga. (Give me your adress I will send to you Orginal Polish Wodka).

________
Hi Taruga! I just wonder if you could give me some info on if the Sigmatel STAC9271D on a Intel DP35Dp Media Motherboard got a patch so that it works with full support? The only thing not working is builtin sound and builtin ethernet. Do you have any info on if there is a working solution for the Sigmatel STAC9271D? I would really appreciate it. Taruga
Please, I know some of you have issues to work out, but don´t PM me. I´ve got more than I can answer and I´m working at the new patcher. So, it´s best for you to post here. Someone may answer, and I always look at the posts to gather info for stuff needed to be fixed (if I can) or improved. So, let´s wait for the new patcher, ok ? Let me work, please. Thanx
