antst
Hi, I have sigmatel 9227 codec. With this patcher audio-output works(both rear and front), but microphone input doesn't. I guess solution can be to edit Info.plst manually with values from dump of linux codec (definitely, by default patcher doesn't put right things here, even if I don't know well format of file, I see that there is no proper number of nodes for mic-in). Is there some thread with more or less detailed explanation of values in this property list?

If I had the same mobo that would not happen

Which dump did you use? Hey Taruga, Can you please help with 9227 codec, i guess it's the only sigmatel codec that's yet to work. All it shows in the output is internal speaker and there is no output through any speakers/ports.

Siro
Thanks for the reply Taruga I cannot seem to get it working on 10.4.8 and I have tried updating to 10.4.9 but to no avail because whenever I update OS X crashes so I am looking for a solution which can make it work on 10.4.8 without upgrading to any other version

maxoid
Hi, I have ADI 1986a codec on ICH-7m hda controller (it's Asus A8Jc laptop). I'm using MacOSX 10.4.10 (originally installed using uphuck MacOSX 10.4.9 install DVD v. 1.3) Sound doesn't work. Applying patches 1.13-1.16 gives me 2 devices: Line-Out (nodes 27 11 7 3) and Digital-Out (nodes 37 2). These devices don't have output controls (volume slider doesn't work). Volume is set to max. And .....unfortunately there is no sound either from internal speakers or line-out (headphones). The linux codec dump is attached. Was anyone lucky to get sound AppleHDApatcher on ICH-7 with ADI 1986a? BTW, Azalia doesn't give the sound either. myAD1986a.txt

Kioshi
taruga? did you found why the nodes cant get it right for the codecs? instead of playing with the nodes, because that is a eternal nasty solution
