meshkashatu
Hi!!I've just found this two threads and I will try it for my Dell Precision: First this one to have subwoofer enabled http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry358088 Then this one to have mic enabled http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry359416 I hope this will help you. Ok I'm using logic express 7.2.3 http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry359416 this kext enabled my mic, but then there's no sound in logic, I mean every sound.Audio ,midi and so.. the strange thing is that iTunes works very well instead.. System sounds too. Tried a lot of things, like reload coreaudio from logic, or going to the audio midi setup (application-utility and select different built in speaker) nothing changed. ah I tried to rec something inside logic with the mic inserted , and it works, I can see the wave of what I' ve recorded.. What's wrong????

piratedman
Patched to 10.4.9, downloaded the HDA 1.16, used the Sigmatel 9200.txt linux dump, and had audio, but it stuttered for the first 2 seconds, then was crystal clear the rest of the length of the audio. Once it stopped, and then played some audio, it would stutter for 2 sec, then work perfect... Took me a long time to fix it, by downloading the CPU FAN Throttler application found here ( http://www.macdotnub.info/beta/downloads.php ) for INTEL + AMD OSX86 Now i have perfect audio for Dell E1705 laptop!! Thanks so much Taruga!!!! ______________________________________________________________________________AppleHDA Patcher v1.16 * new * v1.16 Use this one for OS X 4.9 v1.15 added support for more mobo´s v1.14 stac9200 codec verbs | Should fix also sound port names on others too ______________________________________________________________________________
jedavis1
I have searched and tried many different options for the AD198x I have in my system. I have AD1983 which I haven't seen in this forum. I have tried Azalia, HDAPatcher.. and many others that have an AD198x solution (It shows up as a Soundmax HD) but has a VEN ID of 11d4 and a DEV ID of 1983. Please help me. The PC is a Dell Optiplex 320. I have everything else running well. QE/CI, network, SATA (PITA.. I mean PATA doesn't work beyond PIO Mode 4) but I can live with this. skyhighmac
Does anyone know how to get sigmatel 9223 audio working with 5.1 channels? I've tried the patcher and it keeps giving me kernel panics. Could someone with my like specs create the kext and post it here? Thanks!
anton_d
hi, i have a AD1886a (so says my codec dump) , it loads the AppleIntelICH kext and I've got sound (since the early days of osx86). Now with this driver project my hope to get SPDIF out working has been renewed (i actually had given up on that one), is there any chance that it could be done? I know it's an old card but it's in a laptop (which works almost perfect with osx86 otherwise). I have attached my codec dump, it appears that there isn't very much information in there... If the patcher can't use this, is there any way to do it manually? (point the SPdif to the right direction hardware-wise) Getting this to work would be a huge leap forward for me, as i use my laptop as jukebox connected to my surround receiver. However, having only analog sound kinda sucks once you get used to a digital signal. anyways, thanks for a great driver effort, it seems like you've helped a whole lot of people with it! codec.txt
buford jones
i am having some trouble with hdapatcher using any dump i find for a sigmatel 9220 (dell e310 computer) ... any 9220 dump results in the message "detected unsupported \f0\fs24 codec" a search for fs24 here or online yields virtually nothing, and I'm at a loss. any help would be appreciated.
