MadMaxx
It just working my Hackintosh now!!But, I do not know that when I adjust volumes from the speaker, It makes some noise. Maybe you will think that is the Speaker problem, But when I use Windows XP,nothing happened, just working fine!! Does anybody konw why?? thanks. (I use ALC882 chipest.) Check if your fsb speed is set up correctly. I had the same problem. The solution was to add the fsb=<my fsb speed> to com.apple.Boot.plist. Ferret-Simpson
I can confirm that AppleHDA is supported under the 8.9.1 (10.4.9) kernel. Has anyone heard from Taruga recently? He hasn't posted in a while, and to be honest, I'm getting worried. Anyone know if something's happened?

Ferret-Simpson
Just get your own. It's more reliable anyway - every motherboard implements the codec slightly differently.

d@mian
i tried all versions. The v10, v11, v12, v13 versions resulted the same. Recognized sound card element, but no sound. The itunes play musc, but can't hear a thing... ( i have very clear sound under windows...) any ideas? I read somewhere here, which worked for my D865PERL board before upgrading to my D975XBX2 board , was to adjust the Midi setup in Apps > Utilities (see attached image). Make sure the Output properties are set for Built-in Speaker. You may list more than one entry, so choose the one that enables the Configure Speakers button and the Audio Output source shows Internal Speakers. This should allow you to set the speaker port mappings for your setup using the Configure Speakers. I remember the defaults for my D865PERL board was Left=1 and Right=2, which didn't work. So I tried several combinations and I believe Left=3 and Right=6 worked for me. I think it has something to do with the way the HDAudio maps to the audio ports for the different chips and/or drivers. Hope this helps... d@mian
