MarianoJA
Hi Taruga, I've used your solution on my Laptop and it worked with no problem for ALC883, I tried to do the same on my deskop (MSI P965) using iAtkos v5 and 9.5.0 fassl kernel. Sound works out of the box (before using the patcher), but when I apply the patcher with any dump (I even generated one using an Ubuntu Live CD) System Prefs shows all the INs and OUTs but there is no sound AT ALL, I tried restoring the Kexts, but I finally reinstalled everything. Do you know what would be the problem in here? Thanks !

notilas
Laptop Internal speaker is not working. (Lenovo V100, ALC883) Hi, I have installed Kalyway 10.5.6 to my Lenovo V100. Everything works fine except Audio and memory card reader. Actually, before I patch audio, only internal speaker worked. Neither mic nor headphone jack has worked. After I installed ALC883 codec downloaded from this site and the one I got fromm Ubuntu 8.10 live CD, only jack output/inputs are working. The internal speakers is disabled. I installed HDA enabler, soundsource applit and tried switch the output, but none of them are working. I can select the output as "internal speaker", but no sound from the speakers. Can anyone help? I have attached the the scipt I installed. codec0.txt
