How to disable whatevergreen's hdmi injection completely?

Whatevergreen does not do hdmi injection.

-igfxnohdmi to disable Intel connector-type auto patch. (DP->HDMI)

AppleALC does hdmi injection.

Hi,

I am using whatever green in my laptop Lenovo Idealpad310 (Intel HD 620,&7th Gen).My system is now 10.13.6 but direct upgrade to 10.14 is failing after reboot with kernel panic at IntelGraphicsKBLFramebuffer.I have added device patch in clover.config by igfxdump.

 

can anyone have a look at my config.If anything is wrong.

You shall specify necessary in config.plist 

For Nvidea Kepler also is newer, you shall specify NO.

You use FBPatcher? Big delusion that it can help the beginner.

Without understanding what to do, it will not help you. Delete this program.

Patches are necessary to you only: 19MB stolen 9MB fbmem

Yes,Sir. I used FBPatcher with generated igfx dump file. It is working perfectly in 10.13.6.

Applied patch under device properties : febmem, stolenmem , unifiedmem

My problem: same is not working with 10.14 . Is there something specifically need to change for 10.14 upgrade?

Shiki now part of WEG. How to work DRM media on iTunes? When I try it getting a black screen with 0 sec. No problem on downloading media. I can watch every media if I download. But online watch I always get a black screen with 0 sec. is it possible the fix this issue?

@Pavo  I'm running a xeon and an RX 560 2 Gb ImacPro smbios (I tried more smbioses) latest LIlu +Weg.

My hack freezes constantly can I do anything to make it work?

Well first thing to do is figure out what's making it freeze. Most likely your config is setup wrong. X99 systems are a pita.

Not seeing anything noticeably wrong, I remember reading something that RX 560 performance was bad if not paired with a iGPU, maybe that's the issue.

If that's the case i don t see how an RX570-580 will make any difference unfortunately

That I can not explain either, I have no issues with a Xeon system with both RX 580 and Vega 64

Hello,

I have this hardware:

Bios Legacy and I had a NV 960 but not release the metal drivers and use three monitors until High Sierra without any problem.  My CPU just changed to Intel Xeon 3,2Mhz 6 cores.  Support virtualization

Memory 24Gb and my board is Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R, very old but I am very happy with it.

I just buy a Gigabyte RX580 8Gb.  I get only two monitors active in two DP connectors.

The acceleration is ok.  Metal: Supported, feature set macOS GPUFamily2 v1

The card have 3 DP, 1 HDMI and 1 DVI-D

 

I receive this error on debug:

WhateverGreen:    igfx @ found an unsupported processor 0x6:0x2C, please report this!

 

Please, somebody has any solution?

@jzapater, the warning in the log can be ignored. Will disappear in some later release. No solution for your multimonitor issue though.

If WhateverGreen no solution this issue, another way is through Clover.

 

In Radeon RX580 standard with FrameBuffer Orinoco AMD9500 Controller have this connectors:

DP, DP, HDMI, HDMI, DVI-D

But my Gigabyte Radeon RX 580 Gaming 8G 8GB GDDR5 has this connectors:

DP, DP, DP, HDMI, DVI-D

I exec radeon_bios_decode and redsock_bios_decoder with my rom and change this bytes:

I have a problem with the new WhateverGreen. I work in Adobe Illustrator, and all my activities are delayed. This is not critical, but it is very difficult to work.
The fact is that earlier, when I had WhateverGreen + IntelGraphicsFixUp everything worked flawlessly!
No one could help me with this, so only you can help solve this problem.
My system configuration in the signature.
I attach the video, maybe it will help you understand the problem.
I can provide you with any information about the system, if required. It is very important for me.

Hi, I'm back here because I'm struggling to get my Gigabyte Z370N Wifi (and Intel i7-8700K) to work in Mojave with WhateverGreen. The system used to work fine with High Sierra (no WhateverGreen, just kext patches).

Now I managed to have the IGPU kext loaded and working on HDMI ports but I get no monitor lock on the Displayport that is the one I need to hook it with.

(FYI: I have also a Nvidia discrete card that I use in Windows, but I got rid of all the Nvidia stuff since High Sierra).

Freeze?? When you open launchpad and another freeze?? What model of chipset wifi did you used?? it's related
