stevep0070
So I have searched several forums and haven't found a clear answer to my issue. I am using kexts for my video from this guide for my Intel first generation HD Graphics. I have them in EFI/CLOVER/kexts/... and I have removed the original AppleIntelHDGraphics...kexts from S/L/E. My issue is every time I update either my Sierra or High Sierra installations, the installation re-installs AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext and AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext to S/L/E which kills my video so I have to boot into my other installation and remove the Apple kexts and then the injected kexts work again. Is there any way that I can make the injected kexts always take precedence over the kexts in S/L/E? Or can I add to the clover config file to block the kexts with those name ONLY if they're in S/L/E? I have tried to add the kext names "AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext" in block kexts at the clover boot menu and that didn't work. Thanks in advance
