Got it to work on ryzen?

got no ryzen i test on my amd a10 5800k apu,i test also on my core i5 cpu but it wont boot, bronya's kernel for 10.13 boot on my acer laptop  with i5 at 10.13 with supplemental

Thanks for this new AMD kernel which can boot to desktop at 10.13.3 in FX-6300 hackintosh.

But it can not be waked up after S3 sleep if booted by Enoch and a little better performance (about 3 %) of CPU/GPU performance scores by CineBench R15 with patched System.kext.

It got too many invalid opcodes during booting of 10.13.4 DB1.

If booted by Clover 4380 this new kernel had no wake-up/sleep issue in my FX-6300 hackintosh with less optimal performance by CineBench R15.

did ur usb 1.1 work on sierra/hsierra using the new version of clover with dummyusbehcipci.kext?mine it wont work, but old version of clover 4101 my usb1,1 work with sierra/hsierra by deleting appleusbehcipci.kext or using the dummy one

In order to use USB 1.1 & 3.0 properly I need disable USB 2.0 & enable USB 3.0 in BIOS.

Clover worked at both 10.12.x and 10.13.x with USBInjectAll.kext & without dummyusbehcipci.kext.

It works for Ryzen in apfs mode High Sierra 13.3. @shaneee it still has the 16 core listing for Geekbench, cosmetic (see pic).

I was able to update to 10.3.3 on my ryzen build as well and the webs drivers are not laggy like intel in the ui

Okay so I've already built a kernel based on Darwin 17.2. All credits go to Shaneee, all I did was to apply his diff file. I didn't even bother to change the version number so uname -a still says Shaneee, but that's cool because it is in fact his kernel :D

That you speaked ???

Ok . Thanks to you !

I close project . Bye .

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. All I did was to apply Shaneee's diff file, I did not change a single line of code, that's why I said all credits go to Shaneee. I know that a huge part of the code that Shaneee uses is from you, but I didn't get the code from you, that's why I didn't credit you. I should have done it though. I'm sorry.

Built on 10.13.3 sources. Booted fine on my FX-4300 with Clover.

Thanks for this new AMD kernel which worked perfectly at 10.13.3 in my FX-6300 hackintosh.

Everything is fine if booted by Clover and excellent performance scores of CineBench R15 too !

(However, after repeated sleep/wake-up testing or prolonged sleep for several hours it may be broken and I don't know why.)

If booted by Enoch wake-up from sleep will behave abnormally and restart will get CMOS reset !

It can not boot 10.13.4 DB 1 yet !

However, this kernel can not boot to desktop of Ryzen 1700X hackintosh due to too many invalid opcodes error.

Another Shaneee's kernel of emulateintel worked without issue in Ryzen 1700X hackintosh.

Built on 10.13.3 sources. Booted fine on my FX-4300 with Clover.

Running fine on my C6H with Ryzen 1800x and Clover 4392 (had to downgrade to .106 NV drivers due to the lag problem with .156). Still no Webcam (with/without USB Fix) and the usual Adobe-related crashes - i hope we'll find a kernel/OpEMU level fix to resolve those one day.

Great work Bronya, Shane and everyone else involved!

Really appreciate all hard work here! Perfect new kernel for my 'older' FX8350 CPU.

And finally got the Wake from Sleep working on my computer with AMD 6870 graphical card.

Had to tick the 'RadeonDeInit' box in the Graphics section of Clover configurator.

Finally, everything working great, even sleep!

Hi Cyrhex

I'm using Clover 4392 too. But my FX processor/motherboard combi doesn't have an internal GPU. If I'm correct your a10 has internal graphics and you are using a separate 6450?

If the 6450 would be the only graphics card adding in the Clover Config.plist the Devices/Graphics/RadeonDeInit=Yes flag should work to get wake from sleep working.

And you also have to check whether in the 'About this Mac' shows you the right graphics card. If it shows something like 6xxx, than add the correct frame buffer (FB) in Clover Configurator. Mine is 'Duckweed'.

Maybe try to disable the internal graphics in the BIOS?

good luck

Yes im using a separate radeon 6450,my sleep/wake works on my i3 1st gen and 6450 on 10.13.3,,i tried amd=true radeondeinit=yes duckweed fb,but my system wont display,,only on amd my sleep/wake wont work,i dont know why,but other says sleep/wake work with the latest kernel by shanee using clover

Thanks for this 10.13.3 AMD kernel which worked perfectly in FX-6300 hackintosh except wake-up from sleep may behave abnormally sometimes.

Unfortunately this kernel can not boot to desktop in my Ryzen 1700X hackintosh due to too many "invalid kernel opcode (64-bit): ............." errors which means it need more fixes or optimization for Ryzen CPU.

Try these Ryzen kernels, remove the immutable and the original kernel for 13.4 beta 2.

Try these Ryzen kernels, remove the immutable and the original kernel for 13.4 beta 2.

Thanks for this new kernel, but unfortunately it can not boot to desktop at 10.13.4 DB2 or 10.13.3 in Ryzen 1700X hackintosh.

It showed invalid kernel opcode (64-bit): ......... errors at 10.13.3.

It either freezes after "VM Swap subsystem is On " or automatic reboot if passed that at 10.13.4 DB2.

It has to be booted by -s at first, then run fsck -fy, mount -uw /, exit.

After showing a lot of errors including rebuilt prelinkedkernel failed, eventually booted to desktop at 10.13.4 DB2 now !

Unfortunately both Firefox and Safari as well as Apple Store all not working, only Google Chrome working properly now !

Performance scores by CineBench R15 showed a little bit lower than 10.13.3 or 10.13.2.

Any advice how to fix it ?

run sudo update_dyld_shared_cache -force got the following errors:
