Hi @Xplisite, im not sure for what this option useful purpose, but im take a shot (I guess...)!!

Its works for you? Im just edit my VegaTab_64.kext because to me like is copy from AMD10000.kext...

Im using PlistEdit.pro too, to appears on table...its more easy to compile...

@max.1974 Looking forward to test your VegaTab Kext when Mojave is out next month. Maybe it does something. Tried it on High Sierra, doesn't change performance for my card there, just gives me funny colors and a pixel-art dock hehe. Yes I know it is for Mojave, was worth a shot though :D

Hi all!!! had a new versions of Lilu and WhateverGreen kexts, that's very fine with RX Vega. Another detail is that im change my SMBIOS. Now im using iMac 18,3. Before im using 17,1. and using my edited VegaTab_64.kext, nice and quite fans. Don't forget that's important too enable IGFX graphic in MotherBoard Bios, but not connected anything, just Vega.

Im make update my MB Bios GA Z170-XP-SLi and a update BIOS to my Card too...(with last Atiflash in Windows 10).

Maybe you need verify if your clover folder if is that ok, and update your Clover bootloader too... im using r4658.

Another thinks very important to me is see correctly BIOS configurations, like disable CMS and VT-d. Parallels Port im disable too. 

Sometimes a simple thinks make differences... im not expert user, but with im can help im will ... good luck my friend.

I am not having any fan issues, at the beginning of the beta I was, it would get stuck at 2400rpms and stay there, now it goes up and down based off temps. and idle around 700rpms.

@max.1974 Yup, same card as mine. I am running a golden build. Everything works and is recognized correctly. My only issue is the graphics card which I can not run at its full clock speed or it will crash. What BIOS have you flashed on it? From a different card or the latest BIOS provided by Gigabyte? Because I have already updated mine to the latest from Gigabyte.

@CMMChris im flash bios F2 from Gigabyte support, and im using just Vega Tab and nothing more...sorry for your trouble...Who knows if is better when final Mojave is come...:|

@CMMChris im read in others forums that is important check this RadeonDelnit.

 

I've been edit kexts and others configurations on Clover. If you want, you can test this, because really better performance the card. 

Im wish that thinks help you and others guys!!

Remember that im not expert users, so if someone have a better idea, please, tell us...

Im will test in High Sierra, but im not install HS yet...

The numbers above its higher, but not was constantly, a feel tests all long to use system came down, but now I have same results anytime. So im think is better have this stabilities ...

Im notice too, that when we open a Safari on YouTube, and play any video, and run GeekBench 4, the scores up!!!! :surprised:

So im think that is because AMD RX Vega 64 just had your better performance just when is used, im not sure...but seems to me...:blink:

Since two updates ago I've lost my 5K display ability. Vega FE (air). Changing framebuffer type helped once, but I have no idea which one to pick to make the card work as expected with the screen (Dell UP2715K).

Got any idea? (SMBIOS is iMacPro1,1).

Im update FakeSMC and Sensors that help very much!!! (RehabMan credits).

Im not use anymore Vega_Tab64.kext on "other" folder, so need delete from Clover folders.

 

Very quiet and have a very Good Performance on Mojave Beta 10. You can check with this Command on Terminal:

  

ioreg -l |grep \"PerformanceStatistics\" | cut -d '{' -f 2 | tr '|' ',' | tr -d '}' | tr ',' '\n'|grep 'Temp\|Fan'

My values constantly is: 

  

"Fan Speed(%)"=16
"Fan Speed(RPM)"=793
"Temperature(C)"=36

 

Don't forget the use kext utility and after quit, run this command in terminal:

 

sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /

 

Aternative you can run after command above, run too RepairPermission command from Olarila.com with reset Nvram on boot and so type "y" to Restart...

(don't worry the clock will back after few reboots)

Thank you very much everyone for your great work, I write to you from Spain, and the language is a barrier to follow you, so I ask you in advance to forgive the possible errors of the translator.

I have changed my GTX780 for a Radeon Vega Frontier air cooled, standard, the fan stays fixed at 2000 revolutions. I have installed the utility to modify the table of values, and I understand that these values must be converted, but what I do not understand very well is how to modify the values in the utility.

In my opinion and after doing extensive testing in Windows 10 with Wattman I would like to ask you to make me a profile, since I do not dare to create it in case I messed up.

The profile would be:

-Memory: 945 mV, 1045MHz
-Core: 1150 mV, 1600MHz
-Fan: Minimum revolutions: 600 Maximum revolutions: 3200
-Temperature Objective: 78ºC
-Limit power consumption: + 25%

This profile is tested for hours in Blender with the graphic card at 100% load, for games however for some reason it is not quite right.

I do not know how much work will be done to make one of these profiles, but if it is not much, a second profile could be made by only varying the core voltage to 1120mV.
