luky35
I did a clean install with APFS. Now I have Preboot icon on boot menu. What does it do? http://shrani.si/f/2A/ys/2UnH8ea4/apfs.jpg http://shrani.si/f/3N/WU/2yiQxcJz/boot.jpg

luky35
Remove APFS, format HFS+
Cyberdevs
You can use HFS+ instead of the APFS but customizing the boot entries is more complicated than that. The several last pages of the link that I posted is about doing that.
luky35
I've seen that some edited config.plist because of the overboot because they have an APFS format. I do not know this so I'll probably do the HFS + install again.
Cyberdevs
APFS creates three volumes VM, Preboot and the Recovery partition, HFS only creates two partitions, Recovery and the macOS Partition.
luky35
Are you using APFS format or HFS +? My disk and partition http://shrani.si/f/1j/39/2nMBDsII/disk.jpg
Cyberdevs
Currently I'm using and old HDD so I'm using HFS+ because the APFS is painfully slow on HDDs. If you are using the SSD I recommend that you use APFS because it's a lot faster than the HFS

luky35
The external drive 3.0 The Toshiba 500GB has a USB connector and is formatted as NTFS, because it has various programs running from Windows. Is it possible that he does not appear in the High Sierra?
Cyberdevs
It must be shown in Sierra and macOS High Sierra but it would be read-only unless you have a third-party app like Tuxera NTFS or Paragon NTFS. Open disk utility, find the USB drive and click mount, if you already have Tuxera you'll be asked to purge the drive, click Purge and it will mount. luky35
When I mount external disk and open DiskUtility I see no disk, I only get rotating wheel (see picture). I have installed Tuxeru for working with NTFS. http://shrani.si/f/1Z/Kv/4IhJ3tGB/diskutility.png
