I can not get the system to boot and made a video to show what happened:

I did try this as well but the exact same thing happened

Thank you for your help

This is the exact same thing happening to me. Hell even the mouse cursor loading timing is same and exact amount of load below the logo. And yes i tried to wait for a long time for over 2 hours but nothing happened.

How long did you wait with the apple logo?    It can hang there for 10-15 minutes before it starts to load, but not more than 20 minutes.

It has a bug where it finally stops for the mount -uw point.     You made it to the loading point it doesn't get much closer to booting than that.

Try not injecting Nvidia for 1070 and add nv_disable=1 to boot args after busratio=30.    I'll bet that if you had a Gt210 it would've booted.

Even tried not injecting and nv_disable = 1. Still same result, apple logo loading.

I tried this and let it run for an hour, but it did not move. Any other ideas?

Do all of you with this problem have Nvidia 10x0 series cards?

Maybe a cheap GT210 $40 US to get it booted and then work on the Pascal cards when System is up and running.

I noticed there are a lot of Windows disk options in clover as well, if your using a seperate disk for Sierra/Ryzen I would highly recommend disconnecting all other disks and use only the Ryzen drive for install. If Windows is on the same disk as Sierra then that may be an issue as well.

Form what I'm seeing you are at the loading point which is 99.99% of the hurdles to overcome you are very, very close.

Would this work: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Nvidia-GeForce-N210-512MB-DDR-PCI-e-2-0-Graphics-Card-2x-DVI-/253026102105?hash=item3ae987eb59:g:e-8AAOSwmLlX4WTq

@AMDCats I have a GTX1070 and all is working well for me. I'd like to help you and others if possible.

Do you have access to a working Mac? If so I recommend using the working Mac to do a clean install of Sierra on your Hard Drive. Then, once finished, do the disk edits to that drive using the working mac. Make sure to run kext wizard and after everything is complete, repair disk permissions with Disk Utility.

Use nv_disable=1, and verbose on boot. Make sure your busratio and npci values are correct. If you get 0x9 kernel error on boot, try it again. Sometimes after 3 or 4 reboots with that error all would fall into place and work for me.

Let me know if this helps.

I have a gtx 1060, and i do have a working Mac for the time being. What do you exactly mean by clean install of Sierra on HD? Using gigamaxx's guide and clover right? Thing is it doesnt install only. You can see the USB installer doesnt seem to boot into the mac Os install wizard. So what do we do now?

You can see the USB installer doesnt seem to boot into the mac Os install wizard. So what do we do now?

Instead of creating the USB installer, try the following:

1. Connect your Hard Drive (boot drive for Ryzen) to your working Mac.

2. Run the Sierra Installer App on your working Mac and select the Hard Drive you connected as the destination. The Mac will install, restart, and finish on the setup screen. Shut it down.

3. Restart back to your working Mac. Now do the disk edits as normal, run install Clover (making sure to install on the Ryzen Drive), run kext wizard and repair permissions in Disk Utility (or Disk Warrior).

4. Add a Clover Plist to your EFI/Clover folder. With Clover Configurator select Boot > Verbose and make sure your npci and busratio are both set correctly. For an Nvidia card (GTX 1xxx etc) try using nv_disable=1 and inject Nvidia if you are having issues. That combination worked for me.

4. Eject your Ryzen Drive from your working Mac and install it in your Ryzen machine. You can try the boot using Single User mode the first time, but I believe it worked for me without it if I remember correctly.

I realize not everyone has the ability to install Sierra using a working Mac, but for those who do I hope this helps!

Maybe I can create a completely fresh install of Sierra and upload it as an image for those who cannot install...

Hello Guys,

I made the installation of Sierra 10.12.5 version smoothly with the description of GigaMax. Thank you. But I have some problems. can you help me.

1- USB2 ports do not work how it works?
2- My Atheros AR9380 Wireless card is not working. The card worked fine in intel hackintosh. On ryzen system, pciid = 168c Devid = ABCD. Intel hackintosh is seen as 168C - 0030. I can not figure out why it happens this way. I tried the solutions I found on Google and I was not successful.
3- The PCI tab appears blank in the About this mac - System Report section.

Ryzen system information.
Ryzen 1700X 3.6Ghz
2X8 Gb ddr3200
Msi X370 Pro Carbon
Nvidia GTX960 4 Gb
Samsung 850Pro 256Gb

Sorry for bad English.  Thank you.

For WiFi fix?

Check the Clover EFI fo9lder in the "Kexts" folders 10.12 or Other to see if AppleIGbkext is present, if so remove it.   This is a kext for Intel i211 Ethernet but it conflicted with my Atheros wifi.    It was included in setup files but I removed it in update.

For USB 2.0 it seems to be a mixed bag.    Do you have USB 3.1, 3.0 working?   By activating 3.0 and 3.1 using increase max port limit fix we may lose the 2.0, or the front 2.0 ports.   You can remove the port limit fix in clover and also remove the USBkexts in Kexts 10.12 and other folders, maybe try one at a time to see if it fixes it.
