bbmatias3 Posted June 23, 2017 Share Posted June 23, 2017 No, don't use inject EDID and inject Nvidia at the same time (same goes for ATI/AMD). When using inject EDID you need to fill in the card and vendor IDs it is normally used for video cards that don't have Clover support or for custom injection of a card ID. If anyone has any suggestions please help me out:( I have installed 4 clean installs of Sierra in the past two days. All of these installs boot to clover successfully, then I select -v -single user, keep symbols etc for first boot. I enter SU mode and type mount -uw, fsck -fy and allow the filesystem check to run. Then I exit and it is supposed to reboot to the system. After I type exit, it rebuilds prelinked kernel, loads the remainder of the kexts then the screen goes black. About 20 seconds later, it reboots to Clover. This has now happened to me with 4 completely clean installs of Sierra in a row. I use clover configurator to select inject NVIDIA (GTX 1070) and setup definition as MacPro 5,1. Yesterday I even resorted to resetting my BIOS completely and going through each setting by hand to make sure it was all correct. Still nothing If anyone has any idea what could be causing this please let me know! I have not been able to even boot for about 3 days now. Try a normal boot in second try. Do you mean that on first boot (rebuilding prelinkedkernel) that I should enter "npci=0x??, busratio=xx"? or should I insert values there? Previously first boot was working for me with "npci=0x3000 busratio=34" Also, the last few times I was able to boot to the desktop, I got multiple warnings about Kexts, then Kernel Panic. ( until this is normal... ) but seconds after i lost the connection it give me a kernel panic... test again , and again i lost the connection and a kernel panic happen.
