@TimeLord04 I have one doubt please. I have a spare NVIDIA GEFORCE 9500 GT. Will it be supported in Mojave? Should I take the risk or should I buy a GT710 DDR5 .

@BEINGRATUL,

Mojave questions are technically Off Topic here.  However; I'd look at that GT-710 as a MINIMUM.

Try to find a GTX-680, or GTX-770 with at least 4GB VRAM.  I'm NOT sure IF the GT-710 is Kepler,

or IF it is a Prior Model than that....  The 680 and 770 ARE Kepler, AND have Metal Capability.

I CAN'T say that for sure with the GT-710 as anything PRIOR to the GTX-750  TI SC is before

my use of NVIDIA GPUs.  I've learned SOME about a couple Kepler Cards, the 680 and 770.

I've seen the GTX-770 on e-Bay for about $200 + Mac Flashed.  (That's the other thing,

you WANT it Mac Flashed.)  Look at MacVidCards to see what they have in stock, too.

Let's keep this Thread now on Topic for High Sierra and NVIDIA Web Drivers for High Sierra.

Hi I have iMac 27'' Late 2013.

I have OS High Sierra (17G14019) AND NVIDIA Web Driver 387.10.10.10.40.138. and Cuda Driver 418.105

And the Graphic Card I have is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M

And the Cuda is properly installed and also showing in Premiere pro for GPU.

But the machine freezes or restarts.

And now on the website it is showing that this Graphic Card is not Cuda Capable (https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus)

So what is the solution. Pls help

The CURRENT CUDA  Driver is 418.163, NOT 418.105.

Try Updating the CUDA Driver.

IF this DOES NOT work, there is a SEPARATE CUDA Thread,

I DON'T have the Link, BUT @Hervé MAY have the Link to that

Thread.  ALL CUDA questions SHOULD be Posted in the CUDA

Thread.

Good Luck,

Thanks and can you pls share the link to CUDA Thread, can't find it.

I ALSO DO NOT have the Link to the CUDA Thread.  You CAN Search

for it, or wait for @Hervé to respond here.  He's Posted it before,

IIRC....  (I believe it HAS been Posted in this Thread before, you

CAN go back Page by Page and search for that Link in This Thread.)

Sorry for NOT being able to directly assist.

seems like i accidently updated to beta 2020-05, which changes the build number from 17G14019 to 17G14031.

https://mrmacintosh.com/macos-system-status-version-info-for-macadmins/

I tried patching the 387.10.10.10.40.138 drivers with the web driver tool kit with no avail

any tips or just have to wait for new drivers

It is pretty funny to see how Nvidia already made the 21st web driver version for 10.3.6 ONLY!!! while we never got any beta driver for pre-released HS versions, something we would have much appreciated at the time. I deeply doubt that these versions bring any improvement in graphics cards performances.

Pretty sure they just update the plist lol. It's the signing that make them special

This is the current workaround, which does bring the system back!

----------

Hey all, Starting yesterday, June 2nd. The NVidia web driver no longer seem to be working on my system in 10.13.6.
I have another friend also running 10.13.6 who had the EXACT same problem. Stopped working as of yesterday for him as well.

Everything has been working perfectly for several years, then all the sudden, when booting in verbose, we get
AMFI code signature failed error,

Screen goes black for a second, then an endless loop follows of

ACM:findCredentialSet: returning err -2

ACM:CreateCredentialSet: Credential set created

ACM:verifyPolicy: Verifypolicy UserIdentificationWithBiometrics, checkKeybagUUID = N0, CS[107]
ACM:verifyPolicy: Policy satisfied = No

ACM:deleteCredentialSet: deleting credential set, CS[107]

ACM:findCredentialSet: returning err -2

ACM:CreateCredentialSet: Credential set created

ACM:verifyPolicy: Verifypolicy UserIdentificationWithBiometrics, checkKeybagUUID = N0, CS[108]
ACM:verifyPolicy: Policy satisfied = No

ACM:deleteCredentialSet: deleting credential set, CS[108]

IOConsoleUsers: time(0) 0->0, lin 0, lik1,

IOConsoleUsers: gIOGreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0

Then screen refreshes, and it keeps trying to load credential sets endlessly counting up...and no graphics ever load.

The NVidia web drivers will not load.

Can easily boot the system with nv_disabled=1

It's like some sort of credential/certificate/code signing certificate...or something expired on June 1st 2022, and failed to load as of June 2nd, 2022

I've found a few older threads from 2018 with people who had this same error message....who seemed to solve it by

uninstalling the NVidia web driver, and re-installing. I've tried that, same error.
i tried using an older NVidia driver, same problem

I've tried using lilu and whatevergreen(which I never needed before), and Also tried adding EMuVariableUefi-64.efi to clover(which I didn't need before)but doesn't help.

Tried clearing NVRAM

Of course repaired, cleaned kext cache.

Booting an older system of 10.10 works fine with NVidia web drivers.

Very strange.

Anyone have any ideas?

Yeah, thanks. People at that link are trying tons of workarounds...I haven’t been able to get any of them to work for me yet, but I haven’t tried them all yet either. Will report back if I get something to work.

For someone smarter than I...seems like there should be a way to bypass/or force a trust of the certificate...like you can in the keychain access with secure website certificates....I'm sure it's different when it comes to kexts..(someone who seems to know, just reported that this type of certification is done by Apple directly, and can only be done by them....hmm.... if true, that is not good....cause NVdia and Apple do not seem to have a good relationship anymore...)
