I use iMacPro SMBIOS + Latest Lilu and NvidiaGraphicsFixup kexts and never faced blackscreen issue from 10.13.5 onwards. Also with latest nvidia drivers for the specific release.

i see, I just configured too good MacProSMBIOS and I think I must try... how about to add just iMac Pro to SMBIOS and leave anything from Mac Pro? like serials board number...

Did anyone with multiple GPUs try the recent driver? Don't have time to mess with the drivers on my work rig for now.

Idk if any sort of official support of NV GPUs will come in 2019 along with next gen Mac Pro cause if Apple does not bring it back it will be a massive disappoint for many users.

But with Mojave happening and the obvious lacking of official drivers... sigh.

Maybe we will have to wait till WWDC 2019.

I have a MacBook Pro 2017, Sonet Breakaway Box with MSI 1070 Ti

 

1- csrutil disable (ı checked csrutil status)

2- bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/learex/macOS-eGPU/master/macOS-eGPU.sh) --install --nvidiaDriver 387.10.10.10.40.105

 

This script is not designed to work with your current version of macOS.

Continuation might result in failure and/or system crash. (seriously!)

You use the old wrangler patch. Please follow instructions on GitHub.

I keep receiving the error above. Is there a way to fix it?

Same here. Rebooted with nv_disable=1 and reinstalled previous release.

I tried it again by setting my SIP to 0x00 and installed .108 again but still gave me the deadly spinner. I tried to boot with one monitor installed and it still failed. Maybe it's my GPU? I'm using Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming.

 

Well, I guess I'll just stay at .105 for now cause that works perfectly fine for me and I have to work now to feed myself lol

My native MacPro 5.1 with a 1050TI doesn't respond even after i use the uninstall function in the NVidia prefpane. And what happend next will choke you (hihihi)....it doesn't work. It even doesn't work after a reinstall of the 387.10.10.1040.105 . I need to go back in time with a Timemachine-Backup to get my smooth running system back.

I use a regular NVidia to boot into a functional, but old system. After the systems awakening i use apples Bonjour Desktopsharing with my laptop to check the "Use Webdriver" instead of the casual one.
