why nvidia does not have the compatibility list for the 10xx series ? in any WebDriver for any osx version ?

 

and how I can not pass more than 80000 in tests no matter what I do? I have a 1050 ti and does not want more than 80000? how is it possible for some to go, and to others not?

What compatibility list are you talking about exactly?

 

The 1050 Ti is a very low-end GPU (GP107).  People getting over 200,000 are using a 1080 or 1080 Ti, which are high-end GPUs.  It's expected that a 1080 Ti (GP102) will be 3x faster than a 1050 Ti.

try nvidia download drivers page ...second tab is about compatibility ...check this ... found link in any post about new drivers ... 

 

no cipset make difference ... with 570 or other old chipset I see score like 1080 ... why ? I dont know but is real ... and I return at compatibility list ... black screen, no sound etc etc etc ...was a simple question ... with no answer for moment...

 

for me with any version of kest nvidia or lilu nothing change ...I use a dsdt file ...  any other file no improve performance ...

I think that's because web drivers were meant for MacPro5,1 (and older) users. Nvidia is just supporting those Kepler GPUs and offers additional support for newer architectures (9xx and 10xx). There are no Macs with Maxwell and Pascal GPUs, so i'm not surprised that our graphics cards don't perform very well under OS X.

Maxwell and Pascal GPUs are not officially supported by NVIDIA under macOS.  Only official products that are fully supported under macOS are listed there, which is basically limited to Kepler-generation GPUs (and a few older ones like the Fermi-based Quadro 4000 or Tesla-based GT 120).  Or, in other words, official "Mac Edition" cards for the classic Mac Pro.

He’s saying that our graphics cards are supported but not at 100% like the older cards. This is due to the fact that Apple does with amd for graphics now. Don’t be too hung up on the benchmarks. If your having issues with video editing or something like that maybe amd is the way to go.

I have a 750ti (Maxwell) and it works great once booted into macOS. The only thing I don't get is native resolution during Clover boot.

Have you already tried CsmVideoDxe in Drivers64UEFI?

Final Cut relies heavily on OpenCL. Web drivers are not very optimised. A quick compare on geekbench: gtx 1060 vs rx 570 OpenCL performance:

Windows: 1060 -> about 130k    570 -> about 115k

Mac: 1060 -> about 100k     570 -> about 125k (i found just one hack with that: "iMac14,2 with Radeon Pro 575")

It's all about drivers. If your 1050 scores around 60k, it's ok.

80000 is more or less a correct value for 1050 Ti GPU (low end graphic card)

OSX web driver are about 15% slower in my case than windows if I compare OpenCL benchmark

In cuda only 5% less in osx than windows

so Nvidia Web Driver do its job well!

FAQ #19.  In short, Cinebench is CPU limited and you have a very old/slow CPU by today's standards.

If you look at my signature, you will see I do not have a UEFI mobo. Therefore CsmVideoDxe is not appropriate.

AFAIK Nvidia has limitations for reso with vesa mode; my native display is 1366x768 however only 1360x768 is max supported << so I use the last one selected on Clover GUI. So, choose closest one to ur native disp reso, I guess.
