Cyberdevs
Thanks, I'll double check all is the same. Where do we put SMCJSONs? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk SMCJSONs are the board IDs clover configurator adds them automatically. If you are not using the CC you can add them to the config.plist under the Board-ID @ cyberdevs i find someone upgraded smoothly to dp6..how weird! I didn't update my OS. I attempted to do a clean install that's why I get these errors.
KGP-iMacPro
Hi, Sorry for the late reply, as for "latest Clover", I think that @cyberdevs has shared it here. As for "NVMe external icon patch", it doesn't change. But you said that that was not working under DP5. So I have no idea why. I guess you could inject some properties, see https://pikeralpha.wordpress.com/2016/07/01/help-my-nvme-show-up-as-external/for more details. BR, PMheart I already wrote a script that cures the "NVMe external icon". Interestingly on one rig (X99) I need it on the other rig (X299) there is no NVMe external icon problem...

Cyberdevs
All Done & Done! With the new data that @Sherlocks provided and with the new clover r4167 I successfully installed macOS High Sierra . New installation on HDD formatted as APFS all is good
PMheart
By the way, instead of updating Firmware related information, we could also use crazybirdy's MBR patch, which also contains essential patches that removes firmware check besides eliminating GPT-only restriction. I've managed to install 10.13 DP6 on my hack without updating firmware information. The next thing could be creating a Lilu plugin that patches OSInstaller dynamically to remove such restrictions. But unfortunately I've failed to find out the processes which depends on OSInstaller. Could someone help me then? Thanks in advance. Thanks crazybirdy!

Cyberdevs
what is FFM FF? UPDATE: nvm what value to put on those? as you can see in this post there are new Bios Versions and Bios Release dates. for example if you use the iMac15,1 SMBIOS the new BIOS version is: IM151.88Z.0211.B00.1708080656 with the new BIOS Release Date: 08/08/2017 You need to add the FirmwareFeaturesMask=0xff1fff3f and FirmwareFeatures=0xf80fe137
