mnfesq
Here you go Thanks for the DSDT. It looks like you have RehabMan's DSDT mod for USB in the DSM method for EH01, EH02 and XHC. For some reason, I only have that mod for XHC and have different DSM's for EH01 and EH02. Nonetheless, so far, I have put High Sierra DP8 to sleep twice and both times, it woke up with no problem. Maybe it is fixed and maybe I need to put it to sleep for more than a minute or two. We'll just have to see. In the meantime, I could not update from DP7 to DP8 using the App Store. Once again, I had to go into the High Sierra Recovery partition, select install new copy of macOS in the utility options and download the entire installer. The whole process (downloading the 5 GB of files and installing DP8) took about 1.5 hrs. I had to reinstall the helper file for TotalFinder but other customizations I made have stayed in place, such as the AppleX86PlatformPluginInjector.kext I installed in Library/Extensions. EDIT: So I have isolated the problem with High Sierra crashing and restarting after wake from sleep to my use of the GenericBrightness.kext. When I use that kext, High Sierra crashes after wake from sleep. Without it, no problems. Now, the question is whether there is either a substitute that works for me (RehabMan's IntelBacklight.kext does not seem to work) or if I can get GenericBrightness to work after wake from sleep by disabling SIP. EDIT 2: I was able to get brightness adjustment to work without the restart after wake from sleep by using the GenericBrightness.kext but I changed the CSRActiveConfig in my Clover config.plist to 0x1ff

dehjomz
Update to beta 8 went very smooth on clover 4184. What's interesting is that this is the first time since beta 4 or 5 that a clean install doesn't lead to the "unable to update firmware" error with my windows formatted drive attached. Seems that it was a bug in Apple's code.
surfinchina
One thing that irks me with the constant betas (although I don't need to keep updating I guess ) is the re-indexing by spotlight that seems to happen after every update. Note the mdworker. indexing and post indexing
mnfesq
I finally installed it, everything is working except waking from sleep, any workaround for this? Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk Are you using the GenericBrightness.kext? This seems to be causing my installation of High Sierra to crash after wake from sleep.
