may i have the newest fakesmc not that HW sensor stuff just the kext if possible

This is the version that I'm using I hope this is what you are looking for.

There are sensors inside the kext and you can delete the "plugins" folder inside it if you get the kernel panic on boot.

and here is the link to RehabMan's version of the FakeSMC just in case.

I can confirm FF=0xC00DE137 auto injected by Clover r4179 works for direct install of DB6 by running "Install macOS High Sierra Beta.app" on SMBIOS MBP7,1.

hi, please post your config.plist

 

I have several of them.  Here's the one I ended up using most often.  It is for MacBookPro9,2, but SMBIOS shouldn't matter to get past the problem you had in your photo.  Be sure to add your own serial number in SMBIOS and MLB and ROM in RtVariables.

Image shows that it remains less than a minute
This installation has been completed for a few hours already  :thumbsup_anim:  :D

Yeah. This is not important.

Just see wrong data from your log.

I recommend you use reference 0x0D value.

IMHO why not just set critical items such as Product Name/SN, etc and let Clover fill the rest data (like release date) automatically...

That wouldn't work in my case. I'm currently using imac12,1's SMBIOS, but with the board-id from imac13,1 (to prevent blackscreen on my GT 710)   :P

Using combined SMBios data could be a bit dangerous. You can try Lilu + NvidiaGraphicsFixup to avoid black screen I guess.

yes sir i had another failed firmware update no idea whats wrong i removed everything you said with no luck

Just disable or disconnect all NVMes, SSDs or HDDs except the target drive for installation and the USB Flash Drive Installer and you will easily bypass the annoying DP6 firmware issue!

 

I do not know how many times I have to mention this easy solution here in this board. People seem not to read even the most recent postings!

Why not create a new thread asking another users with same graphics?  :rolleyes:
