SavageAUS
I have High Sierra running almost perfectly on my HackBook but i have noticed that when in Terminal.app to use a previous typed command i would usually just press the up arrow on my keyboard but on High Sierra this is not working. I'm on build 17A306f. Also my HD4400 graphics idles at 0.55 Ghz where as in Sierra it idles at 0.20 Ghz
macwanabe
My hackintosh was just updated from DP2(17A291m) to DP3(17A306f) via Mac app store, but got a black screen. (DP1 and DP2 works well on APFS Volumes. The previous OSX 10.8.x ~ 10.12.5 works well also). It seem the hackintosh has been boot successfully and login desktop, but output a "Black screen" to monitor ( HDMI / DVI , both). Boot with verbose mode (-v and a lot of logs shown on screen), then got a Apple logo with going progress bar , finally a black screen show up. It seem like everything works but got a black screen result. I can remote login with VNC and see the normal desktop in VNC remote control ( so I can see the Version number 17A306f in "About this mac") I've test with R9-280X or GTX-780. Both VGA card has the same "black screen" result. Any idea? GA-Z77X-UP4 TH I7-3770 8G-1600 x 4 R9-280X or GTX-780 SMBIOS: iMac 13,2 Kexts / Patch: FakeSMC, AppleHDA Install 10.13 DP1~3 on APFS Volumes I also get this with a GTX 570, just blank screen when Desktop should appear. Kaby Lake i7 &700K Z270 chipset. Cant get stock on AMD 580 thats why I am still using nVidia 570.

Cyberdevs
I have no this problem at all In terminal window Up and down arrow repeat last commands a usual @SavageAUS Do you have RC Scripts installed? because I don't and I'm wondering if that's related or not? SavageAUS
@SavageAUS Do you have RC Scripts installed? because I don't and I'm wondering if that's related or not? I believe I do. I'll check. EDIT: I did have RC Scripts so i installed new Clover r4117 and unchecked RC Scripts and rebooted. Opened terminal and i could up arrow the last 2 issued commands, will have to test more and see. EDIT3: SSH'd into my server and exited terminal, rebooted, opened terminal again and i could up arrow into ssh commands etc. So it seems RC Scripts prohibits the use of using terminal history in HS. @Sherlocks When i reinstalled Clover without RC Scripts and booted into HS my BI was in menu bar, will reboot a few more times to test more. EDIT2: BI must have been a fluke as 2nd and 3rd reboots it does not appear. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Under Kernel and Kext Patches: <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>Disable board-id check to prevent no signal (c) lvs1974, Pike R. And also (optionally) rebuild ur SMBios with Clover Configurator v4.45.0 for new datas. #Edit: Also try this under Graphics section: <key>DualLink</key> <integer>0</integer> Good luck
PMheart
You don't need -ngfxbeta anymore as of NvidiaGraphicsFixup v1.1.3. But Lilu does.

Badruzeus
Thanks I now get a black screen with a cursor. Using iMac 18,3 SMBIOS. It also happened on My GT 520M with 17A264c (Beta 1), but after updated to 17A291j (Beta 2 or later) this issue has gone. I'm not sure though, we have different graphics arch here (mine is Fermi based).

Regression complete, and I am truly happy I did, it works 20x faster than versions after Yosemite... Got my setup nice and done already in my Lenovo L420 and Asus X550 , and I will stick to it until HFS+ dies, which is around 2040.. 23 years of enjoyment left , Background is a sunset in the Algarve by me

Yes I patched the BIOS myself really easy, I hosted it in my guide for the laptop. I am actually really happy with this laptop, but I am unsure if it runs Snowy, since the SMBIOS is MacbookPro8,1 minimum. I have a PCI USB 3.0 card and an Atheros AR 9285, which I bought for 5$ Bluetooth works OOTB since it is built in the computer (some Broadcom one) ! I think it is a very good and cheap laptop ! Fan noise is minimum, and I have tweaked a button to toggle full speed fan, so that is really awesome Best Regards Sherlocks Taken from the L420 in Mac OS X 10.9.
