Hi guys, I am using developer beta 3 successfully and all is working, the only thing being random issues entering sleep mode , but most the time sleep is perfect. I have noticed something funny, I am using a GUID scheme with a Triple boot and APFS , with Recovery HD

MacBook-Pro-de-Joe:~ joe$

I have noticed a funny entry in my Clover GUI, I was prompted to enable FileVault but I didn't since I know it may cause problems. I am able to boot from all entries in the pic   (???????)

My question is, can I enable FileVault since I am in APFS???

This is an Asus X550LDV SMBIOS MacbookPro11,2

Thanks for your hard work guys

Could you post the previous amazing wallpaper?

Thanks.

Sandy Bridge never had XCPM support, but if you want to try, use PMHeart's patch but change C6 to D6 in the replace pattern. You may also need to disable XCPM PKG scope MSRs (I need to for Ivy).

Nope. XCPM is definitely a no go on Sandy Bridge. We shall always get an early reboot even if we disable all those 3 MSRs. (So regardless of unsupported MSRs I guess)

Not needed for Haswell either?

a little bit OOT here... I'm sure this one is still works well, on my case I have no issue with disp reso.. but only "glitch (a not smooth color transition)" if not using "MBA Display Data". I also need it for including "Display Name, Color Profile, Gamma, etc" right from DisplayOverride file, so mine looks a "Real" Mac Display.. :LoL

I gave up trying to inject 1920x1080 as i couldn't get it to work. Using SwitchResX instead unless i can get some more info or help on how to do it or even if it can be done in Sierra and High Sierra.

XCPM is native on Haswell+, you should use it.

So I should use the patches posted above?

Or is this the right one?

So no other specific Haswell patches are required in regards to xcpm?

Yes. As for Haswell, I guess KernelPm that Clover built-in should be your only buddy. If MSR 0xE2 is not locked on your case, you could even eliminate it. But I think most laptops have such lock.

Still encrypting, will update when I reboot, I know this is an early testing, maybe you guys can recommend me something??

My drivers64UEFI folder looks like this :

10.13 beta  can run smoothly?

Running smooth as butter in Portuguese weather, the boot time is a bit slower because of APFS in a 5400RPM HDD, but overall is quite perfect, getting better every beta!

On my mach? Nope with the graphics (Nvidia GT 520M) as this 10.13 Beta isn't my daily use.  ;)

and.. yeah, I think it' s better give us ur mach specs on ur "Signature" (I guess).

AsAmiShim.efi might not be necessary (I'm not using it). However, you might need AptioInputFixB2.efi.

OMG one day? And is it safe to decrypted..?  ;) I mean on 10.13 (Beta)

Well, it won't take a full day to encrypt. But yeah.....I wouldn't recommend this for the faint of heart. :)) It takes a LOOOOOOOOONG time. Even on SSDs it take a long time. On HDD...you can kill yourself twice in this time.

AptioInputFixB2.efi
