macq
@macq, in Developer Beta 2 there was change in patches for com.apple.driver.AirPort.BrcmNIC, but not for com.apple.driver.AirPort.BrcmNIC-MFG So, once again for com.apple.driver.AirPort.BrcmNIC is now 1 patch instead of 3 patches: I've updated your config file for latest patches. P.S. I'm not sure what does your last patch for Wi-Fi. It is also with wrong length of Find and Replace strings. Thanks for the help , I think the last one was one off by Fred for pcie patching, I guess, I'll report with your corrections. Thanks. ok, its not working, wifi hardware not detected, and verbose shows arpt is gated, and pice fails. I'lll try with fresh install and see how it goes? Riley Freeman
Grabbed the Public Beta, wiped my drive which had DP2 Update 1 and did a clean install. Version is 17A291m, same as DP2U1. I had already updated my SMBIOS with the latest info for MBP91 as posted earlier by Needy. I wasn't keeping a close eye on it, but I'm pretty sure there was only one reboot.
Sherlocks
Oh, Thanks fro sharing that, it's really good to know. I was testing the new update late at night and I forgot to change the SMBIOS info before restarting the system maybe that's why it messed up the installation process. SMBIOS info is correct @cyberdevs #1043. Is it right? Anyways clover default FF/FFM is no problem? Not recommend use cecekpawon's FF/FFM? right? Also how about BIOS ROM data from cecekpawon? Best combimation. Is it recommend conbination?(my suspect) FF - clover default FFM - clover default BIOS ROM - cecekpawon's data BIOS DATE format - both are no problem.(MM/DD/YY, MM/DD/YYYY) 나의 LG-F800S 의 Tapatalk에서 보냄

Cyberdevs
@cyberdevs #1043. Is it right? I'm not sure what you are referring to Anyways clover default FF/FFM is no problem? YES Not recommend use cecekpawon's FF/FFM? right? cecekpawon's FF/FFM Also works but it's not mandatory. Also how about BIOS ROM data from cecekpawon? YES Best combimation. Is it recommend conbination?(my suspect) FF - clover default YES FFM - clover default YES BIOS ROM - cecekpawon's data YES BIOS DATE format - both are no problem.(MM/DD/YY, MM/DD/YYYY) YES My assumption is that only thing that causes the OSInstall.mpkg error is to having multiple Hard Disk during the installation. Cyberdevs
So you don't have any other hard disks plugged in the system? Because even when I tried to install the DP2 Update 1 I'll get the same error. I was testing with the HFS not APFS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cyberdevs
Hi guys, I've been doing some more tests and I'm glad to tell you that with clover 4092, iMac18,1 SMBIOS with BIOS version:IM181.88Z.0147.B01.1706251744 BIOS Release Date: 06/26/2017 I was able to install macOS High Sierra DP 2 Update 1 with no problem, No OSInstall.mpkg error with all of my other Hard Disk Drives attached and with having clover installed on the EFI partition on all other hard disks. I remember a while back when first DP was released I encountered the OSInstall.mpkg error once and after that I downloaded the 4092 version I was able to install the macOS High Sierra with no problem. I was asking @SavageAUS if he had succeeded to install the macOS and he told me that he has's been able to install the with the USB Installer. @Sherlocks, Please notice the FF,FFM and the PF. macOS High Sierra DP 2 Update 1.zip

EVOC
So I had installed high sierra but decided to install sierra so I could get my gtx1080 to work. I'm seeing people's screens with nvidia 1080s. Could I have gotten mine to work too. If so can someone tell me how or point me to where the information may be.

It's best to wait for Nvidia to release drivers or deal with poor performance and / or no graphics acceleration. bisdak4920
High Sierra updated DP2 is Public Beta 1. https://www.macrumors.com/2017/06/29/apple-seeds-first-public-beta-of-macos-high-sierra/ This can be downloaded from App Store. You have to remove DP2 install app
d5aqoep
Right now high Sierra is useless for chaps with Nvidia Pascal GPUs. Sticking with 10.12.5 Sierra. Pointless to install DP2 without Nvidia Drivers and GUI acceleration.
