I dont have VM on my High Sierra Hackintosh

I believe High Sierra on APFS has a seperate partition named "VM", right? At least it did on DP1, don't know about DP2

Maybe it's related

Is what you want to convert HFS+ to APFS ?

Verry easy, if you want convert the boot drive, you need another existing High Sierra to convert because the boot drive is Unmount

Command Convert HFS+ to APFS (exemple disk4s2)

diskutil ap convert disk4s2

Wait and reboot

Use with precaution

Thanks but I mean the other way around.

Do I have to backup everything and format and restore everything?

What is Libm.kext?

I can't boot into HS DP2 with this kext, if I remove it will affect the mac os?

Actually, to be more specific:

He is able to boot, but the hack freezes as soon as it reaches the desktop, which does not happen in Safe mode.

When removing Libm.kext from /S/L/E, he is able to boot into desktop just fine (so no freezing).

As far as I can see libm.kext is only used by some audio related kexts

Edit:

Placed libm back, deleted AppleLegacyUSBAudio.kext, AppleGFXHDA.kext and AppleHDA.kext (all three are depending on libm.kext) and system boots fine.

Placing them back now one for one to see which one is causing the trouble.

Edit2:

applegfxhda.kext is causing the trouble. Fun fact: the kext doesn't exists in DP1, neither in Sierra. So it's something new there

Kext deleted; system boots fine
