superchase9000
Kernel panic is something about CPU - machine restarts immediatly, so i could not read the exact infos for the panic. AptioFix is V1, but also tested V2 <-- which than give no kernel cache error but did not boot any further. just hangs after the aptiofix message. Also tried the following: booted into HS with just the RX as primary GFX, update kernel cache via terminal and rebooted. Enabled IGPU via BIOS again, set IGPU as primary, enabled CSM in BIOS and booted into CLOVER, pressed spacebar and selected "boot in single user mode" and hit ENTER to boot: same summary: "error loading kernel cache (0x9)". Rebooted again, disabled IGPU and CSM via BIOS, et voila: system booted normally into HS. for those it my concern: HS = HighSierra ;-) You were able to boot with an AMD RX as primary without CSM enabled? Mork vom Ork
You were able to boot with an AMD RX as primary without CSM enabled? yes, no problem. But you will have no accelleration so far. But you have sound via HDMI and all connecters work, even simultaniously.
abdouoi
Any patch for intel HD4600 ?
abdouoi
Mobile HD4600 works with same adjustments as for previous OS X/macOS versions: faking of desktop id 0x0412 + Azul FB layout-id 0x0a260006. What patch did you have in mind? After second stage boot, my welcome screen is totally distorted. I had to close my lid and open again to get a correct screen. Never had that issue with Sierra
Stefan Milev
Someone has a GTX 660 working under High Sierra? I can only boot with nv_disable=1. If I try without it just reboots before welcome screen.
abdouoi
Well, unless your settings are not fully tuned, bear in mind it's 1st DP... Did you set DualLink according to your screen resolution? My Haswell/HD4600 E6440 laptop experienced no graphics issues at all and all I have are these DSDT settings (nothing in Clover Graphics section): Device (IGPU) { Name (_ADR, 0x00020000) // _ADR: Address Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) // _DSM: Device-Specific Method { Store (Package (0x06) { "device-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x12, 0x04, 0x00, 0x00 }, "AAPL,ig-platform-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x06, 0x00, 0x26, 0x0A }, "hda-gfx", Buffer (0x0A) { "onboard-1" } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } [...] } Here is what I have in my DSDT Device (IGPU) { Name (_ADR, 0x00020000) // _ADR: Address Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) // _DSM: Device-Specific Method { If (LEqual (Arg2, Zero)) { Return (Buffer (One) { 0x03 /* . */ }) } Return (Package (0x0C) { "graphic-options", Buffer (0x04) { 0x0C, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 /* .... */ }, "AAPL00,DualLink", Buffer (0x04) { 0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 /* .... */ }, "device-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x12, 0x04, 0x00, 0x00 /* .... */ }, "AAPL,ig-platform-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x06, 0x00, 0x26, 0x0A /* ..&. */ }, "hda-gfx", Buffer (0x0A) { "onboard-1" }, "model", Buffer (0x17) { "Intel HD Graphics 4600" } }) } Edited June 8, 2017 by Allan Code tag - Added
chris1111
Ok for any body whants to Build a Create Install Media with no error OSInstall.mpkg I find the solution after lots of test When you finish the drive boot to the Installer and after the first installation steps dont reboot to the Installer Return to your system and copy paste this file attaching here brtool on your Install Drive / macOS Install Data Now reboot and complète secound steps. If falled dont worry reboot and retry one, two time It does not matter it will do it This is a Apple tool from the Install OS X 10.13 Good luck! Guest ricoc90
Actually I downloaded the beta twice. The first one I was able to copy over to my USB with createinstallmedia (the one that actually is installed now). Here BaseSystem.DMG and InstallESD.dmg were separate, whereas in previous versions BaseSystem.dmg would be inside InstallESD.dmg. One day later I redownloaded the beta app, but this time BaseSystem actually WAS inside InstallESD.dmg. Fun fact: I couldn't use createinstallmedia on this one: /Applications/Install macOS 10.13 Beta.app does not appear to be a valid OS installer application
