skyfly555
Hi, I realised right now this another thread exists: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/323184-guide-el-capitan-sierra-high-sierra-on-intel-lga-775-motherboards-dsdt/ So, I'm out-of-topic here. Please, MaLd0n, can you move my last 3 posts to this other thread? Thank you,

The main two issues I’m trying to solve are: 1- When I boot, one of two times I get the attached image, and I have to shutdown and switch on again the laptop to get the desktop loaded. This happened before, with Sierra, but maybe one of every three boots. 2- Only 2 of 3 USBs work. This happened with Sierra too. I hope this can be solved with DSDT patching, but I don’t know what I have to do. Thank you again. post files, check first post 16 hours ago, Gymnae said: moved to Accidentally posted in the wrong thread, oops. use zippyshare http://www.zippyshare.com/
skyfly555
Thank you, MaLd0n, I've uploaded the requested files: https://www94.zippyshare.com/v/uzI3IzSL/file.html Using your CLOVER Install.zip as it is, just adding GMAX3100 kexts. NOTE: With your CLOVER install, the three USBs are working, not two as before, thank you for that Edited May 6, 2018 by skyfly555

I added <false/> below <key>#DropOEM_DSM</key> and added <key>Name</key> <string>DSDT.aml</string> just before <key>#Patches</key> Or maybe did I have to change from <key>#DropOem</key> <true/> to <key>#DropOem</key> <false/> in <key>SSDT</key> section? This is what I got after rebooting: https://www11.zippyshare.com/v/hb8KR0yX/file.html Thank you, EDIT: Please, forget this, look at the following post. skyfly555
Hello, I realised that was not correct. I dropped oem tables with Clover Configurator, rebooted, now this is what I get: https://www109.zippyshare.com/v/fOGepBSP/file.html Thank you again,

skyfly555
Thank you, NullCPUPowerManagement.kext deleted. One last question: do you think we can improve something with the booting issue related to GMA X3100 kexts? Since I changed SMBIOS from Macbook 5,1 to iMac 10,1, it boots correctly one of every three/four times, this aspect seems to be worse. With Macbook 5,1, it happened one very two/three although I didn't have the third USB port recognised. Is there, maybe, anyway to use MacBook 5,1 SMBIOS and to have the three USB ports working at the same time? Thanks again,

skyfly555
I'll check again with MB 5,1 SMBIOS, thank you. Oops! Everytime I boot I get this and I have to intro password, this didn't happen before. Do you know what can it be?

skyfly555
Thank you very much, Mald0n, I rebuilt kext caches and now no more booting troubles! Quote Please, MaLd0n, one more DSDT patch? We have just made an Acer Aspire 5315, and it's great, it runs much smoother! Now I'm requesting an Acer Aspire 5715z, it's nearly the same computer, only audio codec is different. I cloned the SDD to this computer, taking out the "Drop OEM" and your patched DSDT.aml and it booted. I wonder if you can apply the same patches you applied to my 5315, to get a smoother High Sierra on it. This is the ZIP: https://www48.zippyshare.com/v/NpZDf70I/file.html Thank you again

Never had this kind of issues with any of the previous 10.3 versions ingonna try the os on hpfs instead apfs see if it does anything. I even tried removing all dsdt ssdt patches.
