Guest goodtime
Has anyone put OS X on the Sony MacBook Pro clone? That would be sweet. For a PC Notebook, it looks very APPLE-pealing. Btw, that model or mom is smokin', but I hope the Sony MacBookPro clone is cool inside. http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/news-12721...ook….html gt
ConMan
Xslimmer was simple to use and does not appear to have caused any problems with my applications. However, I saved a total of 34.7MB. Not really a noticeable difference in a world measured in gigabytes.
kevin_4e
Yeah that is true ConMan. Someone reported saving 4GB. I saved somewhere between 250 and 500mb. I guess it depends on what you tried. Stuff from iLife could really be shaven down. Maybe you didn't try those.

kevin_4e
Yeah we've had a lack of blogging to some extent. Make sure and keep it updated. Seems like a very useful and high quality blog.
ConMan
Actually, I selected all of the applications on my computer. Maybe I did something incorrectly? I dragged the Applications folder to the Xslimmer window, let it tabulate, and then slimmed it. Was there something else I should have done? Maybe I just don't have the right apps. Right now I'm mourning the state of politics in America, so I can't focus as much as I would like on computer issues.
