Onay Rodriguez
Good Evening @MaLdon and thank you for helping us users to get our macOS working fine. I need help with my Clover Configuration and also creating DSDT edits. I updated my motherboard’s bios to the last update, also I ran your utility app (RunMe) and attached the file it generated. I'm on macOS High Sierra 10.13.5. My Pc hardware is as follows: My motherboard is an Asus Maximus Hero IX 200 Series. My processor is an Intel i7 7700K I have 32 GB RAM TridentZ RGB (4x8GB) I don’t have a dedicated Graphics Card, only onboard graphics (I believe it’s Intel HD6300 since my processor is Intel i7 7700K). I use my computer for Video Edition (Adobe Software + Apple Final Cut) and music production, so video acceleration is very important (Intel Quicksync). I used to have a dedicated graphics card (Nvidia GTX 760) but it died, so now I have only my Intel HD graphics which I need help to make it work. As you will see in my configs file, I changed my SMBIOS from iMac 18,3 to iMac 17,1 because the graphics used to flick a lot with iMac 18,3. I read in some forums that changing it to iMac 17,1 would solve the problem and it did, now there’s no flickering, but I don’t know if the graphics are working at 100% speed with this SMBIOS. Thank you for your help. Also, in my Clover/ACPI/Patched folder, you’ll see a file called SSDT-UIAC. It’s a SSDT file for proper USB configuration of USBInjectAll. I followed Rehab Man’s tutorial for creating a custom SSDT for my USBs. Using IOreg I tested all my ports with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 devices and wrote down all the ports reported as active in IOreg. I have 18 ports as follows: The following two ports are located on the front of my case and they are both connected to only one (1) internal USB3.0 port on my motherboard), I declared them as USB3.0 in the SSDT file: HS01 - SS01 HS02 - SS02 Is it correct to declare both of them as USB3.0 or should I declare them as internal? There are four (4) USB3.0 ports located at the back of the motherboard, I declared them as USB3.0 in the SSDT file: HS03 - SS03 HS04 - SS04 HS05 - SS05 HS06 - SS06 There are four (4) USB2.0 located at the back of the motherboard. I declared them as USB2.0 in th SSDT file. HS07 HS08 HS09 HS10 The following are two USB2.0 ports located on the front of my case (they are both connected to only one (1) internal USB2.0 port on my motherboard), I declared them as usb2.0 in the SSDT file: HS13 HS14 Is it correct to declare both of them as USB2.0 or should I declare them as internal? Like I told you before, I have 18 ports because usb 3.0 has a 3.0 denomination (for example HS03) and also a 2.0 denomination (for example SS03), and both of them have to be declared as active in the SSDT file, so, I have 6 usb 3.0 ports (4 in the back of the mobo and two in the front of my case), that would be 12 denominations or ports in total plus 6 usb2.0 ports (4 at the back of the mobo plus two more at the front of my case). I read that the purpose of creating a custom SSDT for USBInjectAll is to eliminate the unused ports and that way usb falls below 15 ports, so we can eliminate the 15 port limit patch, but in my case I have 18, so I have to keep using the 15 port limit patch, is this correct? Please forgive my lack of knowledge and if I have omitted any useful info. Once again thanks for your help. 123456789323
Hello MaLD0n! Thanks for you work. Will try the iMac one later I've tested the MacBook Pro one and unfortunately the cursor buttons or better to say no one of the keyboard keys work at the clover screen. So I can't boot from a usb pen drive for example. As soon as MacOS is booted everything works fine DSDT.aml Edited July 8, 2018 by DSM2

telepati
I have a problem internal and external USB2.0 port. While using the hack I am losing USB2.0 port. Can you look at my files and tell whats going on? I tried to create the files with runme.app but its always giving an infinite loop when trying to create an ioreg. Yes, I gave a permission to both apps. But it doesn't change anything. Still giving an ioreg dumb failed error.
